It would seem that anywhere where there is no LEO is the place to visit in the US. lol
I have visited the south the most and I think they have the nicest people, but then again I’m white and I hear that makes a difference in the south.

If you mean south as in ‘south of Canada’ (i.e. the US), yep it can make a difference. If you mean the region of the US called the South, well, most people are pretty friendly there.[/quote]
I meant what the US usually means by “the south”.
I never really had any negative experiences with any part of the US though.

Okay, because it reads as if you were implying that the US South was racist. I was saying that much of the US is racist.

I was saying that I found the people to be very nice in the south and that I was told(by someone else) that people were nice to me because I am white(this was after the fact). But yes it probably is racist everywhere.

Another one of Boston’s major issues.
This place is fucking brutal. Most bigoted area ever, and all those people, who hate based on skin color behind closed doors, will smile to your face and pretend they are as “blue” as can be.

Damn I was looking forward to visiting there one day.
Actually I wish I could see a lot more of the USA in my time.

The part that I thought was interesting was that there really is not an accurate representation in American tv or movies of how many black and Hispanic people there are in the US, really it is WAY off. lol

I read this month in Texas Monthly that kids of Hispanic heritage make up more than 50% of the public school population in Texas.
If we’re still talking about accents, there were three Asian ladies talking about a species of bird, and the R was really pronounced…they were saying biRd, when you really expect them to say…bild…or bid…or biwd…or something Asian sounding.

Back in high school, I was one of 5 white boys in the whole high school. The only other race was hispanic. I actually have a Mexican accent although my Spanish sucks ass.
