It makes sense… Doctors call it LOW TESTOSTERONE symptoms however I can tell you from my own experience they are not LOW TESTOSTERONE symptoms rather being low in the metabolites of T (DHT+E2)

Some symptoms traditionally attributed to low testosterone may actually be due to estrogen deficiency, researchers found.
In a small study of men whose hormone levels were altered to mimic low testosterone – and in some cases, to completely inhibit estrogen production – it appeared that androgen deficiency accounted for decreases in lean mass, muscle size, and strength, while a lack of estrogen was responsible for increases in body fat, according to Joel Finkelstein, MD, of Massachusetts General Hospital, and colleagues.
“Some of the symptoms routinely attributed to testosterone deficiency are actually partially or almost exclusively caused by the decline in estrogens that is an inseparable result of lower testosterone levels”
So my e2 came back at 12(11-35) And I read that this is not even a true reflection of e2 in the blood. I was told to check the sensitive e2 in the blood. I asked a clinic here in Europe and they had no idea wtf that even is…
I have sent him an email, looking forward to his response
Has anyone here ever heard of symptoms like mine? Or is it strictly post finasteride users? Has anyone recovered?
Europe is still in the stone age as far as hormone knowledge is concerned. I doubt doctors in your country will have the expertise to figure out what is wrong with you, most fake it.
Its not that bad, considering we do not have doctors like Keith and cypionate is only found underground. But yes, sensitive estradiol - we do not have it. Also you cannot test DHEA, only DHEA-S for example and pregnenolone I think cannot be tested
It’s not that bad?! To have a GP in a country (In the european union btw) say that “free testosterone does not need to be evaluated in a male” is bad. The next day I paid about $100 US to see a private endo. He questioned why I came to him without free testosterone blood results. I basically wasted my money and his time because my ignorant doctor thought she knows something that she has zero knowledge about…
Now Im not saying its not bad elsewhere, because I contacted my old doctor from Canada. I asked him if I should be worried about my blood results based on the symptoms I am experiencing. His response? “I never understood why they checked estradiol levels in young healthy males” This is when I knew my help would not come from these people that you depend on.
They have 0 knowledge from experience. I can tell them the sky is green and they will repeat it like a parrot.
Because of these stupid doctors I almost made myself believe that I had CAUDA EQUINA SYNDROME, even though I knew in my gut it was a hormonal problem. These people need to be held accountable for what they tell you. It is much better for them to say I do not know how to help you, this case seems to require more knowledge then I have aqquired, then to just basically say you are a nut case and some lunatic, who is imagining he has numb genitals , no libido, and leaking urine.
The mental illness card gets pulled when doctors can’t explain what’s wrong with you, just because they can’t explain it doesn’t mean you have a mental illness, however the psychological symptoms are more likely the result of the medical condition.
My substitute GP 3 months ago told me he thought I needed anti anxiety medication, turns out I have multiple mineral deficiencies three of which are known to cause anxiety. My low potassium was causing cramps in my entire body and problems with my heart.
He wanted to spend as little resources as possible looking into the cause and turn around a sell drugs to make a profit. Add to it he was very condescending, I wanted to really mess him up.
Man, I say it is not that bad because basically it is the same in the whole world and the USA as well.
Even in the USA the really good doctors in this field are maybe no more than 20-25. What is the chance you will run upon any of them if you are not following these forums, youtube channels and so on? But for them you need to be prepared to pay a lot more than 100USD.
And at the end we are blessed nowadays to have internet. Because you can email dr Keith or Defy Medical or some of the other good doctors and setup a telemedical consultation so you can get his expert advice on your particular case worldwide.
did I mention that when I did the extreme weight loss and overtraining my total t came back in the low 400’s. It took about a year of resting and gaining the weight back for it to return to the upper 600’s low 700’s. However e2 and dht remain low…
one more thing… I noticed when this started I also started to pee alot, and develop stress incontinence… I read that this could be due to low e2 12 (11-45) and that e2 influences your bodys hydration levels…
Also I have elevated Albumin… I read that the main cause for this is dehydration???
I understand you, because I feel the same way. I’m been on TRT for 2 years but my sexual function is bad, nothing is getting better. Next week I will start Proviron 50mg ED, it suppose to increase your DHT and free testosterone. I will tell you if it works
My endo that I saw, said too come back with Free T measured in absoulte value (Not percentage) as well he mentioned that it was my low shbg that was the problem. When I returned with new blood results he said I should see a sex therapist…
TSH 2,320 (0,35-4,94)
T4 101 (63-151)
ANTI-TPO <0,5 (up to 5,6)
ANTI TG 1,0 (up to 4,1)
PROLACTIN 285 (86-324) seems rather high to me , but nobody seems concerned
I should add that only one of my total t levels has been 612, that was the highest its been, other tests have shown 466, 554 and 455 all within the last year…
Your doctors don’t know what’s wrong with you which is why they default to the sex therapist. When everything has been ruled out as to the cause of sexual dysfunction, sex therapist is the only other explanation and why they are going in that direction.
Your SHBG is fine, your doctors are just lously at this hormone game.
Men on TRT who use AI’s complain of similar symptoms you are describing when estrogen levels are suppressed. DHT is also low and part of the problem. When I plugin your TT and SHBG levels into the Tru-T calculator, FT is 15.83 ng/dL (range 16-31 pg/mL).
You are not converting proper amounts of testosterone to estrogen and DHT, this is the cause of your symptoms. You keep circling around to other lab values that are fine when the abnormal values (E2 & DHT) are staring you in the face.
You should be offered some type of treatment to alleviate your symptoms, clomid, HCG or TRT, but this merry go round you’re on goes in circles. The former two should increase estrogen easily.
My prolactin is 25 (5-15) so I don’t think yours is anything to worry about. Mine neither. Your E2 looks low for that T level. Pre-trt my testosterone was 575 and E2 (non-sensitive) was 48.
