I’ve noticed even size medium shirts start to fit like they’re made for fat people (needlessly baggy around the midsection). Is that just how shirts are being made now? Wuzzupwiththat?
Not sure whether to laugh or cry that guys wearing mediums are now “too big to find clothes that fit”.
What is this “medium” you speak of?

Go to Mens wearhouse, buy some nice button downs, they tailor them right there for you. Love wearing a nice button down out.

It does suck that a lot shirts XL and up seem to have parachute waists.
I did not know this, I need to get some dress shirts now I know where to go…

Maybe you are looking for size Smedium then?

I am also SERIOUSLY doubting your ‘near 52"’ chest. Some of you claim these measurements but for some reason do not look the part.

One guy in the bodybuilding forum claimed a solid 20" neck last week when his pics don’t look like more than 18.
Out of curiosity what is your chest size?
I haven’t measured it since the last time I bought a suit and it was 53" then but my waist was bigger.

That is why I doubt many of these measurements even though of course height comes into play. Everyone here claims a waist under 40" and a chest over 50 but few look even as filled out as you do.

A guy under 6’1" with a chest over 51" and a waist under 36 is going to look pretty freaking big. Not just “kinda big”.
Agreed…

Wut? That’s not what I said at all.

Dude, why would i want to inflate my numbers? The last thing i want to do is tell people im bigger than i actually am because if they ever see in person, i want to LOOK as big as i say.

Also, im 6’3 with naturally broad shoulders and good chest genetics, its not nearly as hard for me to get to those measurements as it is for a shorter guy.

If you really dont believe me, ill post pics, but again, my pants size is 36x34 and i literally JUST measured my chest at 51.5 around the nipples.

lol at you saying i need a chest .5 inches bigger before we can talk.

Also, pictures dont do tall guys justice unless you have something to measure me against.

To reiterate, it’s hard for me to find fucking clothes that fit right, whether you believe it or not.

You can make fun of Speedo Guy til the cows come home as far as I’m concerned.

Age has not been kind to your mind. Your posts at least resembled wit last time you replied to me.

sigh, cant believe these threads are still popping up, right along with the “help, my penis is too big for my girlfriend” in the SAMA forum.

to the OP, I really do not mean to offend, but at my biggest, I was 5’6" and 270 plus lbs. had a 40 inch waist, 60 inch chest, 22 inch neck, 20 inch arms, and 30 inch thighs. I could find regular clothes that fit.

jackets for suits was a different animal, I did have lots of trouble with that, but as far as jeans and everyday shirts, no problem

a guy I trained with at diablo barbell, he was 5’9" and 330lbs, and NOT fat. he had a legitimate 500lb raw bench and 800lbs squat(700lb raw squat) he could find cloths that fit.

I trained a little bit with Peteur Gudmanson, 6’6" 330lbs, Iceland shot put record holder and Olympian, 70 foot plus shot putter, he could find clothes that fit.

even now, I am like 225-230lbs, 48 inch chest, 18.5 inch arms, 34 inch waist, and I can find stuff to fit despite being a midget.

BTW, pushharder, I am heavier than you and shorter than you, and wear xl or just regular large shirts, not sure why you require xxl shirts.

here is a recent pic, just so you do not think I am some short fat choad talking out of my ass:

edit:

btw, to the OP, you do look like a BIG dude, and definitly more jacked than my old broken down ass, so no disrespect intended, but I still think you are exaggerating your difficulty in finding clothes that fit.

^^lookin deisel

I think the OP/“younger” guys version of clothes that “fit” is different than older guys.

I believe the OP (and others) are talking about finding clothes off the rack that look more like tailored clothes.

oh, ok, i guess i get that. well, in that case, get over it, most rack clothes are not made for guys who are seriously training to be bigger and stronger. gonna have to get tailored, it is not THAT expensive.

For the first time, I agree with heavythrower. For me to believe someone really has a hard time with clothes, they had honestly better look bigger and more filled out than the bigger guys here. That is usually not what we see.

If you have to turn sideways to walk through doors, then maybe.

I can agree with that…which is why the advice about Men’s warehouse is good. I already mentioned the other website. I look good in some of those shirts and they fit like they were “tailored” because of the material.

Other than that, if we are just talking off the rack t-shirts, most of these guys are talking out of their ass.

^^fitted off the rack tee’s? where is Celtic’s when you need him.

oh shit! I am agreeing with x too! mens warehose is the shit. to the OP, really go check those guys out.

BTW:

X, on general training and diet philosophy, I have always been on the same page as you. not that you care…whatevs, hugs?

It would be better if we just put on boxing gloves and let one match settle everything.

no problem the winner buys the steak and beer, let me know when you are in northern cali, but not to put qa guilt trip on you, if i take even a minor trauma to my neck now, i probably will be paralyzed. lol

( i recently have had right arm weakness and numbness issues, turns out i have 3 cervical discs pressing and flattening my central and ventral spinal cord)

don’t you feel sorry for me now?

I just died for a minute in a motorcycle accident. Bring it.

wow, you know what we call bikers in the ED? ORGAN DONERS.

seriously, hope you are on the mend. besides the cheesy looking hat, you are looking great in you avatar btw,
