Careful.
If you think Iâm being hard on their beliefs, you should read some of my posts about leftists.
I appreciate my Muslim brothers. Leftists on the other hand.
Me? Nah. They were narratives - like you just said.
Racists can support good policy, too, yup, my post was in alignment with that.
I wasnât saying that he was racist at all, btw
If someone is 100% serious about anything, it requires being less than 100% serious about everything else
I prefer a President that has enough purpose that they can work with racists to accomplish something over one that cannot. But I donât know Trumpâs true purpose(s). So I have no great reason to hold anything against him on issues of alleged racism (for long, even if I thought I did at first).
I never thought he was a racist anyways. Being willing to work with racists was breaking some unwritten ârulesâ that didnât need following anyways. If someone is absolutely never going to work with X, Y, Z people, they probably shouldnât be President of the USA. I am saying America should be stronger than that.
I said since 9/11
Not because of
That was a long time
Regardless of who the problem is âwithâ, it was a problem for many Muslims that didnât earn it
Actually I donât have to admit that at all. But for you I will. Happy?
(zero sarcasm in the first two sentences here btw)
(itâd be way too sappy to not balance it with some sarcasm tho, so shrug)
Yes, thank you, that seems about right
I think you misinterpreted the intent of the post you were replying to
The least racist thing for a President to do might be to appear to be the most racist (at first) to get the racists on board with actually accomplishing something that benefits all races. (Maybe)
I shouldnât go all the way in saying thatâs exactly it, but I did say healing, so close enough maybe
There were some pretty blatant issues around ballot integrity swept under the rug in 2020, but itâs impossible to know the extent.
Itâs also not impossible that enough people were so motivated to vote turnout was bigger than normal. The election was extremely contentious, regardless of which side of the fence youâre on. Emotion was high, both sides believed if they lost it was the âendâ, and our elections are largely centered around social issues aka deeply held personal beliefs these days. Covid had people on edge, emotional andâŠâŠ available.
This election also had a perception of high stakes and contentiousness, but keep in mind Kamala, who totally skipped the primary process, absolutely bombed out in â20. The left was completely uninterested. She carried a significant number of votes in relative comparison this time, largely from people deeply engrained in âTeam DNCâ, but could not hold the middle, who never bought in to her.
There were measures taken to protect voter integrity but I doubt they totaled 15m. IMO, we have seen the same stories and narratives on the news for like 10 years now, and the emotional reactivity we saw from a contingency who maybe doesnât always vote has gone numb.
I would say that Democrats ratcheted up the rhetoric from 2020 and it just backfired because it is so far-fetched and people donât believe it anymore.
The incumbent administration wants their supporters to believe that a neo-Nazi takeover is happening, and many of them believe just that.
That reality has run out of ridiculous narratives they can weave to explain this situation doesnât mean they arenât doing everything they can to continue giving their supporters the idea that they are all heroes of our time bravely standing up to a totalitarian dictator who will eliminate the concept of personal rights.
Iâm not sure how woke Mainers are making sense of the Maine public high school mock elections that went 12 percent to Trump, but it would be extremely unfortunate if they conclude that the children of Maine have somehow become brainwashed by neo-Nazis.
How this was achieved while they were attending the most left-wing public school organization in the country remains a mystery. Did someone allow them to listen to misinformation on Joe Rogan or something? What happened?
Liberals want that psychotic hyperbole to be true⊠truly bizarre hive minded whack jobs. Zero evidence for 99% of the trash they say about us, but more disconcerting is that they want it be true. Only âhappyâ when theyâre miserable.
I predict a lot of turmoil for the Democrats. They can either double down on woke and keep their mentally ill base happy, or abandon woke, which will cause a lot of internal strife. The policies theyâve supported leave so little room for disagreement and the rhetoric has been so loaded with emotion that it really paints them into a corner.
They have the rather unique problem of having a voting base that completely believes all of the untrue propaganda that is proving to be a losing strategy. How do you detach yourself from the policies you previously characterized as matters of life and death importance?
How can they move ahead with their âdemographics is destinyâ game of human trafficking and non-citizen voting without the presidency?
Where will they go from here? Iâm not sure, but if the past is any indication, it will be more shitty policy.
You characterize everyone else as Nazi Bigot Misogynists and Racists.
Itâs worked for the last 15 years and i see no reason why theyâd stop now.
Theyâre too far gone. Rational Dems need another platform / party. Let the vermin eat themselves.
A lot of them just found their platform and party in the post-neocon Republican party.
I might even become a Republican. Hell, I might even run for local office, even though it would be a foolish thing to do with little chance of benefitting me.
I think thatâs a key piece too. Thereâs still a lot of egg on face following the whole Fusion GPS/Collusion fiasco. They went big, unfortunately never saw direct repercussions when caught lying to overthrow an election but are now unable to manipulate to the same degree.
That or 15 million democrats died, but I missed that headline. Itâs actually closer to 11 million now, but Trump basically has the same number as 2020. He has the same number as 2020 but won the popular vote this time. So really the only thing that happened is the democrats got massively worse and it was evident despite the constant lying from the mainstream press.
Kamala was the shit du-jure of one of the 2 major shit parties. People are finally get sick and tires of being lied to all the time by the Dems. First Biden promised 2k checks. Only got 1,400. Then he campaigned on the Public Option. Never heard a peep about it after he was elected. And what happened to the federal $15/hr.? Oh the parliamentarian disagreed with it. What did Bush do when the parliamentarian disagreed with him? He fired them and put in a parliamentarian who agreed with him. And what about the cancellation of student loans? He cancelled some billions which is a drop in the bucket when the owed amount is around 1.5 trillion. After blinding themselves for decades Dem voters had enough, so they dished out some punishment and either stayed home, voted for Trump or even 3rd party.
So you think 11 million people stayed home instead of voting this cycle?
11 million people that have never voted before and chose not to vote again?
Votes are still being counted and might take a couple of weeks to get a final tally. It wonât take away Trumpâs win, but will determine the house.
About 1.4 million, if what i read is correct.
So where did 9.5 million voters go? It just seems suspicious as fuck that 2020 election was somehow MORE important than 2024
When did this happen?
Democrat cemeteries
Some jurisdictions in 2020 were sending unrequested ballots to every single person on the voter rolls. That introduced a massive number of voting instruments for ballot harvesters to go out and collect.
