Yeah kinda like the U.S.
Thatās oppressive as fuck! What if my son wants to know how to perform oral sex on another man and be good at it!
Tell me? What then!!!
Jokes aside I do think some of the book bans go too far. Banning a book like to kill a mockingbird for having sexual violence etc in it is insane. That book is fine if you are older than 13-14.
I agree the metoo movement went a bit too far and created things like the gymcreep trend⦠Or the university of Washington creating a website for women to anonymously accuse men of sexual misconduct
I donāt feel comfortable giving explicit examples, but anecdotally Iāve seen when men actually do become victims it isnāt treated seriously most of the time.
I also agree with Zecarlo the #metoo movement started because there were and are some seriously predatory individuals in the world who need to be caught. Same WITH SK the whole radical feminist thing took hold because some men were actually behaving so badly and many of the good men were bystanders
Culturally thereās also been a huge swing to the left amongst left wing parties, this has alienated many. Growing up I was essentially a product of this, it took a little while for my views to moderate.
Covid and feeling alienated/demonised by the new left⦠That and growing up and realising fringe issues are isolating and societslly unsustainable to allocate a ton of resources towards⦠That and rising antisemitism from Islamic migrants who the left LOVES despite the ideologies they harbour being dynamically opposed to everything liberal switched me over.
I believe some of the Nordic countries with small, highly homogenous populations and minimal to no immigration that involves permenant citizenship unless you marry in are probably better to live in with regards to overall quality of education, healthcare, government helping if you fall flat on your ass due to disability/whatever
Beneath the facade of some of those countries IS a startlingly high rate of depression but countries like Denmark, Switzerland IMO would be where Iād have liked to have been born in.
America is one of my top preferences however my reasons for wanting to have dual citizenship or primary citizenship in America stem from purely selfish reasons that are only applicable to me and a tiny, tiny fraction of the worldās population⦠And Iād be very specific about which state Iād want to live in⦠Colorado with good health insuranceā¦
Sounds great, for now.
Look at a globe, consider world conflict, and tell me where youād rather be.
Among many other things, we can always feed ourselves. I grew up in a place where food is grown nearly everywhere. We have several European countriesā worth of such land to grow our food. Much of this land also happens to be located within a transportation network called the Mississippi River Basin.
If thereās one problem Americans havenāt had for a long time, it is starvation. In addition to making Americans fat, it has also meant very well-supplied combat troops.
Our strategic advantages are impossible for any invader to overcome, except for those UAPās nobody can seem to properly explain.
Norway, not so much.

I indirectly know someone this happened to
The story is extremely egregious⦠He has a scar down his arm from being slashed with a knife. Police essentially laughed off claims of escalating abuse. This was a long time ago when the attitude was definitely āmen donāt get abused⦠Everā.
The woman wound up taking his kids later on (legal definition of kidnapping) then accused HIM of abuse, which was struck down in court as there was zero evidence but he lost all custody
Obviously I donāt know if his story is legit as he has not one but multiple stories of this kind of thing unfolding⦠Which makes me wonder what kind of person finds themselves in the same situation again and again and again like the girls who repeatedly go out with predators who usually have childhood trauma/something wrong with them.
Divorce court is FUCKED in terms of who is prioritises. Funnily enough the ex wife has/had a degree in family law which likely factors into how she won.
I know⦠Itās something society needs to rectify. Society responds in this manner because itās harder for a woman to kill a man, thatās still no excuse for dismissive attitudes
Itās like when I see an attractive female teacher has raped a 13 year old boy the headline often says āteacher jailed for having SEX with 13 year old studentā implying the student could consent?
Imagine a similar headline ā32 year old male teacher has sex with 13 year old male studentā

And sentences for the women tend to be less severe to boot.
Obviously not. But there was a time when we can say men were in charge. They held most of the positions of power. And when they were in these positions, some took advantage of the women who were worked for them. Are we to believe that other men didnāt see these transgressions and boorish behaviors? I read somewhere that Brad Pitt threatened to kick Weinsteinās ass, and it didnāt hurt his career, but what about all of the other men in Hollywood? Men complain about feminism, and believe me, I can make a long list, but if men defended women, maybe women wouldnāt need feminism. Unfortunately, in reality, pendulums swing both ways and we get overreactions and over corrections.
This doesnāt tell the whole story. You can call the police because of IPV but in the course of investigating, it can turn out you were the guilty party.
I see dozens of police reports a week, and a good number include IPV, and have seen cases where the woman called the cops and still ended up getting arrested. And to be completely honest about what Iāve seen, you have cases where the violence is mutual, itās just a normal part of the relationship, as well as reports that turn out to be false and any charges dismissed. In short, I always take any report with a bit of skepticism.
Not starving?
No, but suffering and dying of other things.
