It doesn’t though. You can blend z into b or s into p without stopping because you don’t have to change the voiced quality of the consonant. Blending a voiced consonant into a voiceless consonant or vice verse requires a vowel in between or a complete stop. This is just a fact of linguistics.

@darnell_becker

Since you seem interested, here is more Maine Wire content with a good summary of Maine’s saga with crooked elections under top-to-bottom Democrat leadership.

This lack of transparency is everywhere in Maine. Our School Committee Chairwoman, in a local online conversation neighbors were having about the hardships imposed by the significant school budget tax hike, bragged about her taxes going down due to a homestead exemption.

The only problem for her was that she was simultaneously complaining about being evicted from her rental home, which means she was not eligible for the tax exemption she just bragged about receiving in a very weird online flex amidst people griping about their property tax bills going up by hundreds or even thousands of dollars. That increase was just for this year’s budget increase that she said was far, far too low.

Here is the letter that she claimed explained her eligibility for this rather simple exemption. It was obtained through a freedom of access request.

We can only guess at what kind of national security secrets the head of our local school board had to divulge in that letter that ā€œprovesā€ she didn’t commit tax fraud. We may never know since it’s officially a state secret here in the People’s Republic of Maine.

Please spread word to your friends and neighbors outside the US. UN Peacekeepers are desperately needed to restore democratic order here in Maine.

Thanks, I’ll check that out after I finish the Triad Weed articles. I’ve only finished the first two so far, but it’s the kind of corruption and political promiscuity you’d expect from a third world country.

It is Maine.

Yes, Maine. Perhaps one of the best-governed and certainly the most peaceful state of the 20th century, with excellent public schools.

Woke liars ransacked the state in a few short years while a bunch of people too dumb to understand what was happening sat around saying stupid things like ā€œboth parties are the sameā€ and being mad at what the TV told them about Trump.

From what you’ve posted, the rot set in long before Trump was a thing.

It definitely did, but boy did they go pedal-to-the medal on it beginning in 2018. 2020 removed all of the federal impediments to woke and they took over every institution. Two decades of nothing but progressive policy enactments, with conservatives only managing to delay them for a term or two.

All while they called everyone who disagreed racist bigots.

I’ve known which side I belong on for a long time now.

For a bit more history on Lewiston, my Somalian-American neighbors and the woke migrant crisis, all of which is a successful execution of the broader election-rigging plan for Democrats, continue to read on.

Lewiston’s first wave of E. African immigrants, mostly Somalians, didn’t move to Maine from Somalia. They moved here from Atlanta. They moved here for a few reasons. I can’t pretend to know every one of them, but a few are very obvious.

  1. Maine was a very nice place to live if you can deal with the cold.
  2. Excellent public schools, top 5 overall in USA I think.
  3. Extremely low crime
  4. Beautiful geography
  5. Generous state benefits, especially for having large families

It was all of those things because it was populated by kind and generous people who wanted to help each other and had good core values.

Within a few years we had a few thousand Somalian and Bantu people living in Lewiston. Our mayor at the time, Bob McDonald, wrote a very polite and well-worded letter to the broader Somalian community. It basically said that we are welcoming to everyone that is here, but it is severely straining our town’s resources. Please halt the organized flow of people to Maine. This was right before I started first coming to Maine in 2003ish.

Rolling Stone Magazine covered it and of course young progressives at the time painted him as a racist monster. An award-winning documentary was made that portrayed his intentions similarly. I was in general agreement the first several years I lived here when I was still pretty ā€œprogressiveā€.

Maine was anything but racist and intolerant at the time. It is my belief that the reaction to that letter was massively successful in silencing the people of Lewiston about ever objecting to this new burden the community was being asked to shoulder. They were not and are not a racist people at all. They were polite people who were bullied.

Many non-profits and federal grants followed, establishing a stream of money previously unrealized. This web of nonprofits has continued to grow, increasing the flow of outside money while also gobbling up more and more properties which then fall off of the municipal tax rolls.

Meanwhile, needy people keep showing up, levels of dysfunction continue to rise, and productive people flee one family at a time. More nonprofits keep trickling in to meet the need that has been transported to Lewiston

Had it just been a one-time migration of a few hundred families, it might’ve been okay for the town. But it was never going to be that because there was an entire ideology behind this whose very purpose was to subvert western civilization. It also happens to empower, enrich and entrench Democrats in Maine. It definitely has done all of that.

From 2018 onward it seems like the new arrivals are flooding in. We went from English and French in the public schools to English, French Somalian for the next decade plus and now we’re up to 12 I think.

We are one of the worst public schools in the country today.

How anyone could go back in time and tell the people of Lewiston that it is their responsibility to assume this burden which is enabled only through spending the people of Maine’s own resources.

How? What could you possibly tell those people in the year 1999?

If you asked an honest Democrat from 2024 they would tell that resident of Lewiston in 1999 something about achieving equity by subverting white colonialist patriarchal power structures rooted in a perpetuation of slavery and oppression of POC’s. It would be complete nonsensical babble to a Lewiston resident in 1999.

Meanwhile, in reality, Maine was a leader of abolition, paid one of the highest prices in the Civil War, and was probably the most tolerant and peaceful state in the USA at the time, with no notable incidents of racism or any level of racist organizations even present in the state.

The 1999 person from Lewiston would be flabbergasted. They would think of immigration in terms of 2024 Trump policy and consider it to be quite liberal. Why would we need to pump the state full of people on welfare?

It actually was this (I think)

Democrats need to stop shoehorning in candidates that check the right boxes and focus on decent policy implementation. While I’m on the fence as to who I’d support nowadays I can’t help but think conservative political commentators like Charlie Kirt (imo) make a lot of points

The left has chosen fringe issues and ran with them for too long… now a ton of young (men moreso than women) feel alienated by the left. Focusing on the 1% of the 1% (which unfortunately I fit into in some regards) gets us nowhere as a society.

Kamala sucked because the democrats put too much emphasis on ā€œfirst WOMEN presidentā€ ā€œfirst BLACK WOMAN presidentā€ and you had guys like me who would have been on the fence otherwise think ā€œwho caresā€ without focusing on policy implementations I might have cared about (if I could still vote)

Coupled in with very real clips of Kamala Harris talking about how she was proud to be involved with a California state policy that involved taking taxpayer money and granting federal inmates sex change operations? Donald Trump has said some insane shit that is obviously false, but this really takes the cake and she IS NOT BULLSHITTING. How come inmate A who blew out his shoulder and has a rotator cuff tear can’t get an operation but inmate B who wants a nice set of boobs and his penis cut off can get a whole swathe of high risk, expensive operations?

Aside from that… America is going through a recession, much of the world is… What was Kamala’s proposed intervention for rising costs of living, the border, the opiate crisis etc?

I can tell you what Trumps policies were, I couldn’t have told you what Kamala’s were without doing my own research. Some voters didn’t even realise Biden had dropped out, and if you have to google/research what a candidates policies are they need a better PR campaign.

Kamala’s ad campaign was deplorable. Ad’s of women’s husbands saying ā€œyou better vote for Trump or elseā€ only for the woman to go into the polling booth, vote Kamala and wink at the woman next to her… or the same thing with a bunch of macho guys saying ā€œi’m voting for Trumpā€ making out Trump supporters to be a bunch of sexist macho guys and the one guy secretly votes for Kamala

Democrats lost the support of young men… and I know exactly why, probably politically incorrect for me to say why though… while young women swarm to liberal ideology in droves

What I think happened is many liberal individuals (esp young liberal men) couldn’t bring themselves to vote for Kamala Harris, but they also couldn’t bring themselves to vote for Trump so they abstained.

On another note, much of the western world is very much into mocking Americans for voting Trump… there was a map posted showing how few Europeans would vote for Trump. Australians are currently getting off on how we are ā€œsmarter and more sensibleā€ā€¦ Here’s the deal, Australian’s are the most apathetic bunch of pussies on the fucking planet. I don’t know what has happened to the country as when I was like 10 Australia was a VERY different place. Here’s a reddit post extrapolating on what I’m talking about… we have NO right to make fun of American’s

That and Aus/Europe isn’t experiencing an influx of 300 thousand illegal immigrants yearly that the government is paying to house in hotels… insanity… AND much of Europe voted in FAR right leaders to combat the growing rise of radical islam in Europe (not Republican, but actually FAR right)

Unpopular opinion: We are not smarter or more sensible than Americans, and this attitude that we are will lead to disaster : r/australian

Isnt Australia one of the most feminist countries in the world?

Covid lockdowns over there were eye-opening either way.

Honestly I’m not religious in the slightest, but the more bullshit i see stemming from the liberation of women, the more i think they got it right.

We’re due for a very violent course-correction if things don’t swing back the other way.

I know this is tongue in cheek, but i can promise you not one bit of that is classified.

Classified materials on a digital device are restricted to a classified network… meaning it’s air-gapped.
And it most certainly doesn’t contain public www. web links lol

There’s no good reason for me to be up at 4:20 in the morning, but Maine recently passed a law giving much more leeway for local officials to redact information on FOIA requests. I’d have to look up all the details, but it is beyond obvious to me that these clowns are not particularly adept at hiding their intentions.

Alexa, what is an oxymoron?

Look up South Korea, the gender conflict and the 4b movement. You might find it interesting.

What’s happening now in the west is essentially what started happening in SK ten years ago.

Not violence necessarily although SK has had a long history of fairly horrific gender based sexual violence… Some of the most stomach churning cases you could possibly imagine so I actually understand why the whole feminist thing became so prominent there… But in 2016 the gender paradigm had shifted to what is almost identical to what we see unfolding over much of the west now.

South Korea has the world’s lowest fertility rate at either 0.72 or 0.68. Economic hardship and rising costs of living play a role but it’s not entirely dissimilar to like NYC or Sydney Australia where the rate is still slightly over 1 therefore it can’t explain EVERYTHING that is wrong.

It’s the gender conflict… Men and women (many) just hate each other over there. It’s a little bit different to the hypergamy we see in most of the west now, but Sk was sort of there in 2016 and the situation just spiralled

Keep in mind I’m not super educated and my view on it is opening to changing.

And yes. I do believe the left has gone way too far left with the feminist stuff @Andrewgen_Receptors and I don’t think a lot of older generations understand the find of feminism being pushed on young women on college campuses is VERY different to the pre 1990s feminism… And the question I have is WHY are social/academic institutions not only allowing this, but actively promoting it?

I don’t agree we should resort to how extreme Islam is. Only over the past decade have young women drifted very far to the left relative to men (if stats are to be believed).

Afghanistan for reference a woman cannot sing or read in public, a woman cannot leave the house without a male chaperone, women can’t go to school, work any sort of job etc.

Clearly a middle ground existed before 2020s era modernism took hold. Islam is not necessary… And as a Jew I have a vested interest in not dying or being forcibly converted… I also want Israel to… Continue existing… So big no to Islam for me.
