When to Start Gear?

Hey listen i have been hearing a lot of conflicting views on when it is ok to start cycling. I would be running low doeses of test then eq and a pct of Nova. Is it really harmful for my health and hormone’s if i start at 18? even if i do very short cycles?

You should gain a basicunderstanding of how AAS work first so that you can at least use them properly.

The fact that you mention doing “test then eq” as if not together, and the mention of “very short cycles” implies that you do not have any understanding of AAS so should not use them.

What ester of testosterone, and what would you consider a low dose that you would be using? Why would the dosage matter? Shut down=shut down…

Why would you run any long ester like EQ for a VERY short cycle? How long do you think is very short?

Test/eq 500-750 test and 500-600 eq for eight weeks… and then nova after/during

Why would you use a SERM during? Do you not think an aromatase inhibitor would be more fitting for this role?

Also, why only 8 weeks for EQ. Most guys I know see the good gains from EQ starting around week 12. Its really not a drug for short cycles.

If you are 18, I would probably advise you not to use. When I was 18 I wanted to go on, but didn’t. I had a 750 squat and was doing fine drug free. When I was 19 I found out I had low testosterone naturally and decided to go on to optimize my potential, since having low testosterone would obviously be detrimental from both a health and strength perspective. However, had I not had low testosterone I would not have been on anything for a long, long time.

What are your stats? Height, weight, training experience, best squat(to depth, at least thighs //, preferably hips past // with knees), best bench, best deadlift, overhead press, bentover row.

What about your diet?

At 18, you really don’t want to risk HAVING to pin twice a week for the rest of your life.

im 5 10
between 190-200 pounds
i have been working out hard for around three years
my best squat is 405 and yeah i got to at least thighs but i have bad balance issues
my best bench is 275
beast deadlift is 375
overhead i usually use dumbells and i use the 95s and bent over row is 275

i eat 6-8 meals a day [i eat six sometimes on the weekends when i sleep a lot] i eat around 1.5 to two grams of protein per pound of body weight. i only eat healthy carbs such as brown rice sweet potatios and whole grains, right now i am on a cutting phase so i usually consume very little carbs [ i try to cycle them so i dont flatten out]

im really not looking to become a power lifter of body builder but i want to take it to the next level and get a bit bigger. would i really need to be doing this for the rest of my life?

Power lifter or Body builder sorry a typo. like i dont want to be the next mr olympia or compete regularly i just want to become larger and stronger and i feel that i have hit my plateau with strength and size. I dont want to mess up my hormones so that i can never be off steroids for the rest of my life

if you think you have reached your natural ceiling for strength and size at 18, you are delusional man.

if your goal is to get bigger and stronger, why are you cutting?

you are strong for 18… if you stay consistent with your diet, training and recovery, you will be a beast by the time you’re 25.

at least let your body and endocrine system fully develop before you start steroids or anything hormonal for that matter.

How many calories a day?

I still wouldn’t advise you to start yet. The fact that you think nolva should be used during, and no mention of an AI makes me think you haven’t read enough yet.

Your strength isn’t bad, except the deadlift could move a lot more. You say you have balance issues. Hit some heavy abs.
