Im a bit wiser now. I now like to eat light on gameday. Lets say if i am playing a saturday night game at 6pm, I will eat a normal breakfast and lunch, and then at about 4 I might have some rice crackers and jam or maybe even a small bowel of my favorite sugary cereal. I probably would advise against a subway. Like you said, it is important to have carbs the day before(ie sweet potatoes for dinner etc). And dont forget to hydrate!!
