When Is Estrogen High Enough to Encourage Gyno?

When does one’s E2 get high enough to start producing Gyno. In other words how much estradiol measured in pg/mL does on typically need to have for them to start risking gyno production.

I was getting concerned when mine got to 60 pg/mL with total T levels of 1200 ng/dl, but to my surprise, I felt great, had better erections/libido and no gyro… at what point do you start getting concerned? I know everyone is different, but is there a general threshold?

There is no typical point where estrogen triggers gyno, it will be very individual. Also other hormones plays a big role in gyno, an imbalance between DHT, prolactin, estrogen and testosterone are key factors.

Not everyone can get gyno, its genetic.

There’s no number that triggers gyno, is more an imbalance of androgens vs estrogens.
High androgens inhibits breast grow even in presence of high estrogens.
On regular TRT yoyu never get gyno unless you add more unnecessary shit, like finasteride

What if your TRT regimen puts you in supraphysiological territory?

my e2 is 199. I don’t have gyno. I don’t use any AI.

No way to know, and it’s probably more of a ratio of test to estrogen. You could get gyno with low-ish e2 if androgens are low enough

The guys on TRT and ASS that typically get gyno get it when stopping TRT and starting a PCT because their hormones are declining creating the perfect recipe for an imbalance of hormones.

You have a limited amount of aromatase enzymes, as you add more exogenous testosterone, those enzymes become fully saturated and cannot convert more estrogen. So there’s a limit of the amount of estradiol you body can make of exogenous testosterone, once you reach that limit, supplementing testosterone doesn’t increase estrogen.
For this reason you will never get “enough” estrogens from exogenous T for gyno to happend not even on supraphysiological doses.

Is there any research to back this up?

This is absolutely bollocks.

Gyno is a well documented side effect of anabolic compiunds that aromatise. Its literally on the medication as a potential side effect. Testosterone aromatises period.

The more T you put in the more you will aromatase. Especially if it all goes in in a big lump rather than smaller dosing more frequently.

You’ve literally pulled that information out of your backside and its utter crap!

It’s why on higher doses as people experience gyno the first advice is to back the dosage off and pin more frequently- because you’ll get less aromatisation.

“You’ll never get enough estrogen from exogenous T for gyno to happen”… thats literally the dumbest statement anyone has ever made on here- tell that to all the guys doing gear that have had to have gyno surgery!

-yes, whitout enough androgenic activity to counterbalance estrogen you get gyno, but exogenous testosterone alone doesn’t do that

  • yes, up till certain limit, once the aromatiae enzime is fully saturated, estrogen production has peaked and doesn’t increase any more

It’s why on higher doses as people experience gyno

-you are over simplifying things, like people using dbol, finasteride or low shbg releasing free estrogen

You’ve literally pulled that information out of your backside and its utter crap!

-No, you can ask my mama ain’t tell no lies :kissing_smiling_eyes:

I’m not arguing against your saturation point- I’d have to see studies to see if that was correct but I’m not saying it isn’t.

I’m saying your statement that T alone can’t cause gyno through aromatisation is utter nonesense.

Lots of folks on here have had issues with gyno being on just T and I’ve personally experienced it.

I’ve also seen it in plenty of lads in the gym who did 16 weeks on just T @ 600mg and grew lovely sets of tits!

Utter bollocks fella.

I havent said it’s not complex- I’m disputing that statement of taking T alone can’t cause gyno. Point blank it can!

I’d still love to see the backing research for this statement. To this date I’ve seen no evidence of this
