DB COMPLEX

10 GOBLET SQUATS, 10 DB SNATCHES, 15 PUSHUPS 3 ROUNDS, 40LBS THEN 50LBS RESPECTIVELY.

Running and SS cardio on the treadmill for a mile.

Notes:

well the end of my first 5x5 cycle ended with great gains

gym PRs

Bench - Old 330 New 340 +10

I hope to get these as meet PRs soon.

Starting with a new 5x5 cycle tomorrow.

So when is the next meet, anyway?

I plan on doing a USAPL meet in May with HARA

I tried my wraps today, I wasnt crazy about them…I guess I have to get used to them. I started to lose sensation in the bottom of my legs possibly too tight. This is how I feel with my wrist wraps I never use them I dont like them, however with the knee wraps for the benefit of my numbers I have to get used to them.

Wraps are a huge asset during DL…I will pull those bad boys down to avoid scrapes on the chins.

For DL? I sometimes use my sleeves down on my ankles…but generally nothing.

What’s the difference between sleeves and wraps???

Wraps are when you wrap the elastic fabric around your knee and thigh area, Sleeves are slipped on and are generally there for warmth and stability, whereas wraps are more supportive and possibly aid the lift somewhat.

Fantastic gains. I did really well on Starr myself so I’m not surprised to see you doing so well.

Which wraps did you get? I’m going to order a set but want to hear some opinions before I pull the trigger.

james

Thanks James!

I ordered the Inzer red and black ones, the 2.0 length, I really want to use them because they really seem to help so Im going to use em again tomorrow.

Nice work, brominator.

Wraps are pretty uncomfortable but you will get used to it, or at least know what to expect. I do think they keep my knees feeling healthy.

Damn fine pulling Matty, I’m going to have to step up my DLing to catch up.

that’s quite a few pounds added to your PRs. Your work is clearly showing, nice work Matty.

Not sure if I missed it, do you have a meet picked out?

Make sure your squats are deep. And your form is spot on.

So full of win
Making me pretty closely at a 5x5 style of training
And just hit the basics.

Keep oa bro ski posted abut this meet.
A little bro might want to tag along and test the waters
Or just be the gatoraid knee wrap monkey
