What's Been Your Experience with Hair Growth Solutions?

Been on TRT one year, at the point where my hairline is noticeably different. Have you guys found positive experiences with any hair-growth protocol or products? And have you found anything to be a complete waste of time? For instance, I’ve used Nizoral shampoo and a hairscrub brush daily the past few months and it seems to not have helped at all.

You had low testosterone and since testosterone was low, DHT was also affected negatively, now that testosterone is higher, DHT is higher and DHT can cause hair loss. TRT is known to speed this process along more quickly.

I found injecting smaller doses minimized the T->DHT conversion in the same way T->E2 conversion works.

I notice less acne when injecting daily… whatever you do, stay away from hair loss drugs!

If only the newly growing hair on my ass was on my head. Thats the one negative of TRT.

Interesting. Might consider a hair transplant down the road. But right now I’m at the point where my hair is still descent. Something that stops the DHT getting to my scalp, or would slightly bring back some hair follicles would be perfect. Basically starting with low-hanging fruit.

I have hair that is receding away from my eyebrows, this is not to be confused with hair loss. Hair loss is something else entirely. If your hair is receding this is do to age and there isn’t much you can do about it expect get a hair transplant or a wig.

My hair is still thick, just developing a more prominent widow’s peak. My only worry is that it’s happening prematurely. If I can’t do anything about it, I’ll just accept it and maybe get a hair transplant down the road.

What about the topical forms of finasteride and the like? I wonder if they are any more safe. I read somewhere that it only blocks dht at the follicle site. Probably too good to be true.

I’ve noticed that over the last 3-4 months that I’ve started shedding. Probably 30-50 hairs in the shower. I have very thick hair and never had an issue with shedding on TRT until recently (no issue for the first almost 2 years). I wonder what would cause it now? @johann77 any ideas?

The prices are crazy high, the risk is lower than oral finasteride.
