That was one steak last time I went to a fancy restraunt. And it wasn’t very big, neither.

Go to T.J. For that price you could pick up a vial of test and a cheap hooker!

Yoe have to ask about corporate discounts, student discounts, military, be creative, lie… Most gyms are willing to give a discount in exchange for a membership.

My gym works like this…
Monthly…$47.99
One year contract discount…$37.99 monthly (if you’re not willing to commit to a year, your’re not committed)
Student discount: $30.99 monthly
Voila

Seriously, where is your gym? NYSC(corporate gym) is $92/month, student discount makes it $85. I live in Brooklyn, and even the local gym near me is $60 a month, plus a membership fee, plus a multi year commitment. Am I just not looking in the right places ?

Sorry for taking this away from the original question.

I also happen to agree that the $115 should be used for chicken, steak, eggs, yams, veg, and the like before supplements.

You pay that much because you live in NYC…

Most commerical gyms ie Gold’s, World’s, WOW, Planet Fitness, 24 hr Fitness, etc… Charge between $25-50 a month.

I have 2 gym memberships, 1 so I can train w/ my father ($30 a month) and 1 so I can train w/ my g/f ($10 a month).

If you join the military your gym membership is free. there are like 7 different gyms on my base.

And the food is free at first, then dirt cheap if you use the Galley (something like $3 per meal).

They give you all the clothes you need (if you don’t mind walking around in uniform all day) with a clothing allowance each year, they give you housing allowance or provide you with a place to live, let you travel all over the world for FREE, and they pay you on top of that AND give you 2.5 days of accumulative vacation each month (as long as it’s used within a year).

Give it to me…

…J/k,lol.

115 is not much… I hope this is what you can put in per month. With that money, I would simply by all the whey I can which would be about 3 5lbs jugs and maybe some creatine. I’ve always said if you can’t get big off whey protein and creatine, then forget it.

5 lbs pharmasport whey protein at sam’s club is 18 dollars, it doesn’t taste bad, but it doesn’t mix well. So buy like 4 tubs and a blender.

This part of the OPs post nullifies over half the replies given.

2 years, use or lose works in funny ways, I have people in my unit that have over 95 days of leave because they deploy so much.

Ok I am going to change the direction of this post a little bit. I eat all the food I can and to be honest I was a little resistant toward getting supplements, but you know what read the man rules article and one of the rules is be open to new things, so shit lets try some supplements.
In yall’s opinion what are the best three supplements a person could get to increase strength and power? Surge and creatine excluded. Thanks yall.

I take ZMA, Protein, Fish oil, HOT-ROX, creatine, multi, calcium (not at the same time as the ZMA), glucosamine. Top 3 other than protien, ZMA, Fish oil, and HOT-ROX.

get as much steak as you can possibly eat. Not much better than eatin a steak every day!

Other posts have already told ya whole foods is key first.

But yo answer your question, if I were you. I would get the following:

Creatine, Glutamine, Liver Tabs, Animal Pak, Protein powder and some fish oil. Total cost if you buy smart should equal less than 115.

Damn I’m a dumbass, seriously. Stats are this 6’1 190 22 years old been training hard for a year now. As for the diet I am using Chris Shugarts Mass Diet and its been working. As for the workouts I am in week three of Joe Defranco’s West Side for
Skinny bastard’s program.

I really just want to cut through the bull and find out what to get or really what is worth it. Alright everybody thanks for the imput and sweat blood.[/quote]

Since you asked about supplements and not about food choices…

I would definitely sink all my money into Surge. Maybe some creatine or fish oil tabs or something…but since I have stock piles of that stuff I always need more Surge.

Go get a rubdown at the massage parlor!
