What is your goal in life?
It may sound stupid to most people but my goal is a little different. I want to live in complete seclusion. I don’t care where as long as its cold and located near water. A small cabin in Montana, far in the middle of no where would be nice. To do so I must be financially set, this is a problem.
So what is your goal? Having a family? Getting out of debt? I am sure allot of people are after the perfect body.

you know…I’ve often thought about living a secluded life . maybe not COMPLETELY secluded , but enough that I’m away from the BS of city life .
as for goals .
retire at 62 . this wont be easy , as I work in a factory , making under 40k . and I insist on working limited overtime . staying out of debt is the key . this includes never fuckin’ with my mortgage . would love to be able to criss-cross the country in my RV pullin’ my rig behind . 18 years to go .
be in good enough health to enjoy NOT working in my early sixties . seems to me that a lot of folks are in pretty miserable condition once they hit 50’s and beyond . I dont want to be in that group .

To save a life
My goal- To be normal. Just your everyday average guy.
But when danger approaches or there is a crime to be stopped, I turn into a nuclear war-head and annhialate entire regions.
Then I go back to being a regular guy.
I guess I should not of said “complete” haha more like 1 hour away from closest town. I am tired of so much BS in my daily life that I want to get away from it all.
And not stocking up on weapons. Basically I want to wake up whenever I want, Do what ever when ever.
To be the last person left alive when the apocalypse hits. I even want to beat out the fuckin’ cockroaches! Oh yeah, and pummel the hell out of that figure competitor’s ass on the side of your screen. She’s looking right at me. I know what she wants. What she wants …she gets!

Not to get all Eastern Philosophical on your arses but I read a confucious proverb a long time ago and it has stuck with me.
“The exemplary person pursues harmony, not sameness.”
What does it mean? Textbooks will explain this by asking you to think of a really good bowl of soup. You can taste the carrots and they are sweet, you can taste the pieces of meat and they are tender, the broth is salty, etc. All these individual things make a great whole but by themselves they would not be as good. They create a harmony of flavours.
Create your own harmony - seek out more than one goal in life.
Building a strong body is a great goal. So is building a good career. So is dating gorgeous women. So is helping others. So is leading people. So is assiting a leader. So is raising children. So is getting a formal education. etc. etc.
Get my point? All together they make one hell of good time.
Right now I’m focusing my energies on the nice body and good career.
Next year I think its time to do some travelling.
The gorgeous women thing seems to be the most difficult goal at the moment!
Whats my goal? To keep learning everyday.
To have no regrets
My goals shift with each new accomplishment, experience and open door. To do my best at each would be my ultimate goal i suppose.
Be the best me that I can be.

Great post. I believe this as well - aim for excellence in everything. In particular, strive to identify your natural gifts, then develop them to their full potential.

Wanna have a nice family,let my children to have better childhood than i had, have a beautiful life, have a nice body.And in the end i wanna go sacrificing my own so people will talk about me as a hero.
