Come on, friend. If you have P&L responsibility, then you know you don’t have enough information here to know if this is the right business plan or not. We don’t know who their target customer is, their revenue streams, costs of maintenance, pipeline, perceived brand equity, etc. All we know is what we want this to be for each of us as individuals. It’s possible you’ve just fallen out of their target segment (or that segment has moved).
I find it odd that their advertising their own training articles, rather than supplement pages, on their own forum. I can’t imagine what the desired action is - maybe you click to that article, read about supplements, and then click to that page. Either way, it’s a leap to assume they’re generating a ton of ad revenue on their own ads (which have been the most annoying).
My whole point there is: we can’t judge the company’s goals, objectives, and model, because we haven’t don’t the math on the market opportunity.
You’re right, all I have is the little bit of information I’m conjuring up in my head, regarding the business.
Speculation at its finest — but man does it feel off. Just the experience alone — which is important when you’re an online business/marketplace.
This place was different. Now it’s just worse!
I know I’m just one person and one opinion, though.
The glitches are annoying but nothing to warrant a major meltdown over. I have never seen a company that didn’t have some hiccups along the way. It’s life. No need to go full on Karen about… lol Usually when shit don’t go my way I just leave and don’t come back, problem solved.
Personally, I loved the 90s, so I am enjoying the real geocities vibe tnation has decided to go with here. Just needs some midi music to really complete it.
Also, the only way I could post this with my phone was by using desktop mode. It’s amazing.
Ok guys, there are two things I know for a fact, and one thing I will make an assumption on that @Chris_Colucci can correct if I’m wrong.
Fact 1…
Just about EVERY business has decided to increase their online presence during this whole pandemic fiasco. This means that…
Fact 2…
EVERY web developer is busier than a cat trying to cover shit on a tin roof…
Assumption…
I assume that T-Nation does not have an in-house development staff. If this is correct, they are relying on one of these already overwhelmed 3rd party firms to make corrections for them. This will take longer at this time than it normally would.
Give em a break guys and have some patience. They will get to it when they can.
