What is considered a “real” house to you?

Guys you work with on a construction site are not the same thing as friends. If you think they are, you probably don’t have any real friends. Friends would die for you. They should always be happy for your successes.

That’s wildly retarded. Some of my closest lifetime friends are people I’ve raked concrete with, shingled houses with, and worked on heavy equipment with.

Does this guy not get it either?

No, he gets it.

Okay great. So it’s you that doesn’t get it then.

Proverbs 18:24 NLT
[24] There are “friends” who destroy each other, but a real friend sticks closer than a brother.

Our home (in New Orleans) is an off site built house. Two halves shipped from two states away, joined, placed and bolted to a raised platform. It was constructed (wood frame) in a warehouse to spec and built to survive transport. It’s outer walls are 50% thicker than code. The central wall is 8in thick. The roof has multipoint supports withhurricane ties. It has survived five hurricanes without damage. I would put my manufactured home up against 90% of the ones in my area.

It is a real home. My family owns a double wide in the Thousand Palms community, across the freeway from Palm Springs. It is a real home. Congratulations on your new home. I hope you and your family find a lot of happiness there.
