Obama's Poll Numbers Are Falling to Earth - WSJ [/quote]
I concur. Economically, he is doing the exact opposite of what he should be doing. Combining both recent bills he managed to borrow and spend over 1.3 trillion smackers on social programs, “green” initiatives,temporary work programs, and ear marks. All the while continually bailing out business that should be chopped up and sold off.
I don’t really have all day to break down on why each and every initiative is bad and economically idiotic, but I could easily. It won’t be long before the rest of the public catches on and turns on him. Especially those waiting on mortgage checks. Patience is not a virtue I possess, but I am fairly certain, things are go to get but ugly for him very soon.
He also seems to think that because of the economy, that all the social programs he is ramming through at break necks speed is going unnoticed. Perhaps, that’s why they have launched a smear campaign against his critics. They are outing him. Fortunately, it has had the opposite effect. I think Mr. obama, should consult will Clinton, he was a master…He also knew when to shut the fuck up. Obama has not figured that part out yet.
A little off-topic but your closing sentence reminds me of one of my favorite slightly-fractured Biblical quotes:
"To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
"A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
"A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;
"A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
"A time to bulk, and a time to cut;
"A time to stand and speak,
“And a time to sit down and shut up.”

Ha! I am one of those “hated” dudes…Bulking and cutting go hand and hand to me. I think you can enter a perpetual and simultaneous bulk/cut phase where one is not different from the other. While this will not work for the competitive body builder…For my goals, I just need to stay relatively lean (10% ±3 BF) and progress on my numbers.
Man the amount of shit I caught for that opinion. Some folks just don’t appreciate different approaches. Unfortunately, I have been on the plus side or that BF lately, ahh but the summer will remedy that!
Varying even the +/- 3% counts as bulking and cutting to me.
It’s relative, I suppose.

It’s usually related to work and stress. It happens naturally not intentionally.
But I am saving some questions for you, I need to pick your brain on somethings and I think your one of the few people who could actually help me.
Sorry about the hi-jack. Back to the topic.

Roberto, you can quote the Bible? Even more evidence of your celestial origin.
Thank you, but I fabricated the bulk and cut part – just not there for some reason – and altered the wording regarding a time to keep silence and a time to speak.
I’m predicting this guy will enjoy, though increasingly strained, general approval for reasons people won’t be able to exactly put their finger on until about his 2nd or 3rd year.
I doubt he’ll crash n burn in time for the 2010 mid terms, though that will depend in large part on whether the GOP can hobble together a clear, credible and CONTRASTING message by then.
EDIT: Lemme throw in here too that when the next round of terror attacks start I think it will work the opposite of how it usually does. In most cases the public rallies around the leader who is in power. In this case people will say “whatever else may be said about W he at least did not allow any more of this”
This limp wrist is at this moment laying the groundwork for this very thing.

you could easily argue that W’s actions planted the seeds for those new attacks and only motivated people to begin planning new ones.
Yes, it took fighting back against them to motivate the terrorists/jihadists to want to strike the United States. Any future attack will correctly be blamed on our having taken military action.
Or perhaps on Bush tax cuts giving money to the rich. That could be it also.
You know, I posted this same article on a very left leaning forum and they totally dissed me.

Actually, I think Obama just gave Hamas some money…
Well they’re not rich.
Spread the wealth!
At this point Obama could start a hurricane
and dynamite the levee and the news media
would continue to promote him but there is
growing discontent among some who voted for him. Look for Holiday Inn Express stock to go up as people wake up and sentence themselves to life without parole.
Pat, you’ve gotten it right. Obama is doing the exact opposite as he should be doing to help pull this country out of its economic woes. But, in all fairness he ran as a liberal (was never called on it by the inept McCain camp)and now he’s governing as a liberal. I would have to do some research but I don’t think that we’ve ever elected anyone who is more liberal to the Presidency.
As far as Obama’s poll numbers go I expect them to continue to slide as those moderates who actually bought into the “change” mantra grow more disenchanted.
Ultimately the only thing that may save Obama’s numbers from rivaling GW’s poor showing is an overly friendly lap dog media. They helped elect him and I don’t think they are going to turn their backs on him any time soon.

I think it was one of the ties he wore.
Ya really have to wonder what universe some people live in.
