What Happened to the Livespills?

When you are looking at an article there is the little bar to the left with the Facebook, Twitter, Mail and a plus sign. If you click on the plus sign one of the options is print. You can print the article out from there. Works just like it used to.

I’m a long time member and Biotest user. I don’t comment myself, but I did read all the livespills. I wish they were still part of the site since I do not use social media of any kind.

Mods, any idea about the logging out issue?

Sir/ Madam,
I would like to respectfully request you reinstate the Livespill section. I have over the years found the Livespills to be extremely helpful in fully gaining everything I can from the article, especially the interaction with the authors. TC, CT, Dani, ect…were available for comment and offered direct personal responses. I do not use FaceBook, simply because I am detailed to the intelligence field. FaceBook is the greatest boon ever to happen to the world’s intelligence agencies, a world wide data base of information, photos, and a unbelievable amount of personnel information.

Trying to track a bad guy? FaceBook is your first stop. I still cannot believe the amount of “day to day” information than even people who should know better post on FaceBook. T-Nation offers a wealth of information FREE and I understand if it is a financial situation. One cannot bitch when one has free access. I would respectfully request your reconsider your decision. Thank you.

And the search function does not work.

Every time I come back I have to log in again.[/quote]

You all are a bunch of whiners.

Now, the fact my Metabolic Drive comes in a plastic bag, instead of a plastic tub is something to be upset about.

It violates tradition and the laws of nature.

Next thing you know, people will be benching on days other than Monday. They will have weights on the bar with the number facing out. Chaos!

Protein powder in a plastic bag is a disaster of biblical proportions.

Real, “Old Testament,” wrath of G-d type stuff. Fire and brimstone coming down from the skies! Rivers and seas boiling! Forty years of darkness! Earthquakes, volcanoes, the dead rising from the grave!

Human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together… mass hysteria!

It doesn’t work in Chrome for me either. It does work in IE (10) but you have to click through a blocker.

You have to click through a blocker in Chrome and Opera as well.

You are right, we are reading the comments and I will address the best I can.

  1. Regarding the LIVESPiLL, it has been retired and will not be brought back. It essentially had the same 20 people commenting in it, if even that. Also, the majority of the authors hated commenting there and we couldn’t make them do it, because they prefer to answer questions on social media sites, for obvious reasons. We also have a much larger amount of user interaction on the social media sites, where it is their preferred method. We understand that Facebook and Twitter aren’t for everyone, which is why you we will always have the forums on T-Nation.

As some of you have already been mentioned, not every article is going to have a lot of discussion on it, so why create a dead thread for that article. If someone thinks that there is some good discussion for an article, then create the thread and get to the discussing. No, authors may not jump in to answer questions, but, as already covered, they weren’t doing it in the LIVESPiLL either. The few authors that did comment in LIVESPiLL are just as likely to comment in the forums, so give it a shot.

  1. The issue with being logged out is being addressed and will be fixed soon.

  2. Same with the search function.

  3. I’m not sure what the problem with the icons covering text is though. Can you please let me know exactly you are seeing and where, so I can look into it?

Oh yeah, and the new pouches for the proteins are so much better than the bottles! Although Jewbacca does have the best post in this thread.

I believe they are referring to the Facebook, Twitter, Email, and More tabs that pop out from the left side of the screen. On a mobile device, they block nearly all the text.
