Most recently had fun for the last year making a doc about threats to marine species (mostly sharks and cetaceans) for an environmental charity.

Dreams of writing comedy and drama. Or at least getting paid to.

Student in Seminary working towards either a Masters of Divinity or towards a Doctorate in Theological Studies.

We’ll see what the future holds…

No, but I remember when the only responsibility I had was keeping up with my homework. The pay sucked ass though.

Then: I retired as a Police Chief after almost 30 years in law enforcement. Thought I was set but then a divorce convinced me otherwise.
Now: I’m a loss prevention consultant. Next: Stay tuned!

People with degrees in philosophy can often actually get jobs in the corporate world (if you want to). Less college specialization than you think is required, and some employers like to hire somebody with a little different mindset.

Seems like every other person is an engineer, computer guy, US Marine or Firefighter. I have experience with the first three, and my dad was a firefighter. I feel all warm and fuzzy now, must be something in the water.

One of my clients was a patent attorney. She told me lots of horror stories.
