Met him (and simpstr and 4 of her friends) when I had to go to DC for some MA training.

He was actually quite soft-spoken and laid back. Big dude, too.

BG is an old school guy who grew up in an east coast city. He doesn’t like being disrespected and most of his “threats” were to the effect of, “meet me and say that to my face, I’ll give you $10,000.00 if you want to make it interesting”. And as a person who’s been to prison, grew up in Baltimore and has been around the block more than once, I would not go out of my way to say ANYTHING disrespectful to his face (not unless I wanted my ass handed to me or had a gun and knew for sure he didn’t). He’s not the kind of guy you want to fuck with. He’s bigger, stronger, faster, tougher, smarter and has more real life street fighting experience - all at the same time - than most people I know.

And LOL at the implied racism. It’s kinda funny since he mostly dates women of color and at least half of his circle of friends is not white. He, LEW (a BLACK man) and I hang out several times a year. He’s not a racist in any was shape or form.

Sure he’s easy to hate on, but he’s in his 50’s and can out lift 99% of the people here… I’ve never read anything he’s posted that I didn’t believe he could back up. So why don’t we stop talking shit about the man when he’s not even around to defend himself?
