Danh- I remember that.
SOmeone at work showed the site to me. He used to post here as “Rookie.” Maybe you remember him, the guy who broke his neck after falling asleep at the wheel & flipping his SUV.
I started reading T-mag when i receved the paper issure free. I’ve read every article.
I was one of the first readers.
In December 2002 my brother passed me a copy of Merry Christmas Bob.
I came here after doing a search for supplements and stumbled onto the biotestedge website. I looked the website over and checked out the stuff, figured it was just more supplement company bullshit talking about how great their stuff is and how no one else even compares. I was about to leave but I saw the testosterone magazine link in the upper right and I figured what the hell. That had to have been a good 100 issues ago and counting.
I had a guy from the gym introduce me to testosterone’s website. At first, like every one else, i just cruised the site seeing what was available. Now i have been cruising the site for about 20 months or so. As long as it keeps improving or i keep learning new stuff i will be a life-long member of the site.
I read an Ian King program in men’s health magazine called “get back in shape” about three years ago and wanted more info on Ian King. I searched his name and came across this site and it’s wealth of information.
Used to buy the actual hard-copy magazine version of Testosterone and even then it was packed with arcane & helpful lifting info… made the transition to website when I got to a job that had good highspeed access to the 'Net. ![]()
Yahoo search for “Trenbolone Acetate”
back in 99’ i walked into a supplement store and one of the employees told me about this awesome website that i had to checkout
~ changed my life
Irondoc: And to think you’ve said some pretty icky things about me on other websites… Now I know you like me! You really like me!
Whatever…
Summer 2001 went looking for a new training program… Just knew there had to be more than Muscle and Fiction out there.
A buddy of mine sent me Chris Shugart’s “Big Woof” column – “How to Get Laid the Testosterone Way.” That went a long way toward changing my life. Thanks Shugs.
Also, Mage –
I’m totally with you on the “my friends think I’m in a cult” thing. Especially in law school, my roomates all thought I was obsessed with protein, although I’m actually pretty “soft” on the rigid dietary requirements compared to a lot of folks around here.
I got sick of reading the same shitty workout advice in Muscle and Fiction. The T-Nation advertisment in the middle of the mag caught my eye. I thought it was a steroid website, so I didn’t go for a while. About a year ago, I finally decided to check it out. The great info, hilarious writing, and the total lack of BS hooked me.
THe magazine sitting on the shelf, surprisingly next to Penthouse.
In never ceases to amaze me that the moment I have a question about form, training or places to find answers, I can always come here to get started in the right direction.
BostonBarrister: With Thibaudeau and cupcake shaving their heads, among others, I am beginning to wonder myself.
