Red Harvest by Anne Applebaum. Enlightening read (given the current situation in Ukraine). unfortunately Anne Applebaum didn’t spend quite as much time talking about the 5 year plan as I would have hoped. If anyone has any suggestions of books about the 5 year plan that would be greatly appreciated.

Currently reading The Hot Zone by Richard Preston. Oh wow wee this book is good! Terrifying, but good

Great Circle by Maggie Shipstead

Red Phoenix by Larry Bond this one was tough. It really wasn’t a good enough book to be 23hr and 28 mins long.

Now onto
Sharpe’s Tiger by Bernard Cornwell

The Like Switch - Jack Schaefer

I’m just making my way through everything recommended in the articles here. Not hugely a fan of this one tbh, it started interesting but now just seems a bit obvious and repetitive. I’ll finish it though as it didn’t take me long to get about 50% through.

Damn! You’ve got some awesome ā€œenduranceā€! I tap out at a 15 hour max for all practical purposes. When I see something that’s over that - I’m always like, nope - I’m out. lol

 I made it through The Passage by Justin Cronin. 36 hrs 49 mins
I think that’s the longest one I have listened to yet.
Sad part is I did the whole trilogy.

The Twelve was 26hrs 23 mins
City of Mirrors 29hr 29 mins.

My gnat-like attention span and I are IMPRESSED. Clearly, I’m going to need to ā€œtrainā€ if I want to aspire to your greatness. I may need some tutorials and program recommendations (preferably in audio format and <15 hours).
