Someone was suggesting to stop pinning Sunday…go to Endo Thurs and get lab Friday…200mg/week numbers should go down to 500’s or lower like 100ng dose…
If you’re goal is to not go in there with higher levels then skipping shots would definitely do the trick.
My ultimate goal would be him prescribing 200mg/week so do you think I should go with your suggestion AND skip shots? If I skip shots it’ll take me longer I think to get to 200mg/week prescribed as missing shots is for me having proof my levels are at my 100mg/week true prescribed dose.
I would tell him you are prescribed 200mg/week but still miss the shot so your levels aren’t higher than he’d maybe want them. That way he won’t have any issues giving you 200mg because he thinks that’s what you’re already taking and your levels aren’t higher than he’s comfortable with.
Thing is, doctors generally don’t like patients playing doctor, they find it irritating as many harbour a god complex and inherently believe that they know better (and in many cases they’re right… not not always within the realm of TRT/AAS)
That’s why you don’t tell them
You’re right. I make sure to tone it down when conversating with doctors about interesting information I know or talk about and how it relates to things, etc…
Meaning don’t act like you know /guided better than them regarding TRT?
Do you think since my e2 will go up(is e2 short for estrogen?) as I stopped my .5mg/week ai… Will I have less total/free(from aromitization) test compared to before?
Also when do you do lab work since you pin everyday? On traditional pinning we go the morning of the next shot but before the shot…is it the same thing except you can go any morning now since it’s everyday pinning?
What’s your usual total/free test numbers on this protocol?
I
If so then not enough to matter. You’ll feel better and that’s what is important.
I pin the morning after my previous shot before I take that days shot. Any day you want to do it (after you’ve been on the same protocol consistently for at least 6 weeks).
24 hrs after previous shot
This is at 26.5mg/day (185mg/week split daily)
Do you worry about your longevity at 2000?
Wth no waythat’s at 26.5mg daily? On 80mg 2x/week put me at 887ng/dl and free T like 20’s…most people on 200mg/week get like 900-1200 total T lab work on this forum
What did your doc say about those 2 blood markers …marent they like super high?
Not understanding what you said about when to tkae my shot on the day I get lab work…do I take it immediately after lab or before…I would think after that’s what docs do
200mg had my levels under 1000 on once weekly injections taken at trough. To answer the question though no I do not. I’ve done shit you couldn’t even imagine someone surviving (myself included). You have to figure out what kind of life you want to live. I have friends that are extremely successful and work 80+ hours a week, sleeping 4-5 hours night and every second of their lives is level 10 stressful. Lots of people look at that favorably. There’s sacrifice in every aspect of life and you have to decide what you want out of life and what that reality will cost you. My current life is a life I fantasized about but never really imagined it could be reality. Not just talking TRT but TRT has helped me get there. I have no regrets and I don’t believe my TRT will have a dramatic impact on my life span.
Most people aren’t injecting daily. They are taking larger doses less frequently so when they test at trough their levels are much lower than their peak levels. My 2000 total T is peak levels so that’s as high as it gets. You can’t really test trough when doing daily injections so it’s not the same thing. If you tested at peak your levels doing less frequent injections they would be dramatically higher than trough.
I do my own blood work. I get T from a TRT clinic.
You want to test your levels at their lowest point (trough).
If you inject once weekly (every 7 days) then you want to get your levels tested 7 days after your last shot (on the day of your next shot but before you take that day’s shot).
If you inject every 3.5 days then you want to test levels 3.5 days after your last shot (before you take that days shot).
If you inject every other day (every 48 hours) then you want to test your levels 48 hours after your last shot (before you take that days shot).
If you inject daily (every 24 hrs) then you want to test levels the day after your last shot (before you take that days shot).
The more frequently you inject there will be less difference between Peak & Trough. On daily shots there really isn’t a peak or trough. The levels will be the about the same. So instead of going way up and then way down they stay right on the middle.
Yeah but as a patient don’t TRT clinics require patient’s lab report bloodwork a few times a year and have a doc discuss numbers and adjustments over phone, in person, etc? I use to go with Defy
Yeah but I know someone on YouTube who experimented his TRT using 100mg/week injecting daily. When he checked his lab work his total T was less than 500…he even mentions he was surprised. Here’s the video
I don’t know about “signs” of a dose being too high, but one time, for some reason, even though my dose was the same as always, my total T mysteriously climbed to 2502 ng/dl and my free T to 573 pg/ml.
I had no negative signs, but I do remember feeling extra invincible, energetic, and strong as hell. All my other tests on that lab were completely normal…except for SHBG. That was elevated. I assume it was elevated to deal with the T levels.
Jesus Christ… I’m a jelly potato
Yes… but guys also walk around year round with 5000… 10,000 etc
To be fair… literally about 36 hours after a shot of 250mg sustanon I clocked in at about 1500… not 2000+… you might just be lucky. Data show nadir on 300mg (mean) being between 1000-1300 depending on the study, meaning peak would probs be (with test E this was) between 2000-2600… so… lucky, granted FT matters, but these individuals had proportionately high levels of FT if I recall… can’t link studies if you wish
