Thanks I just cancelled PCP appointment and asked them to refer me to a male Endo lol…which will be my 2nd try. The first time was in April she wanted to start me off with 50mg/week…after coming from 160mg/week at TRT clinic.
Even if new Endo starts me something much lower than 200, at least I know he will do routine labs
If it comes to a point where you’re out of options and are willing to pay $150/month I can put you in touch with my doc.
Which ester do you inject daily?
What all does the $150 cover?
My bottle is 220mg (200mg T cypionate & 20mg enanthate) compounded.
@booxr
It’s pretty standard.
$150/month
Every two months they send prescription of 10ml Testosterone, syringes with extra draw needles (I use my own smaller insulin syringes), alcohol swabs, 10 1mg anastrozole tablets (which I don’t use) and lab work (every six months if you want it, I don’t use it).
Ok…I am paying $340 for 10ml Test, syringes that I don’t use, Anastrozole that I haven’t been using, no swabs and no bloodwork
What’s the thinnest needle able to use for IM delt Testosterone injections? You think I’ll be fine with 29G x 1/2 in?
I’ve used 29g 1/2 for delts. Works well.
I now use 30g 5/16 in belly
I use 30g but something slightly larger is faster. Somewhere in the 27-29g is probably a happy medium. It takes a while to draw with the smaller needles but it’s not a big deal, just pull the plunger back and wait 2-3 mins
You can use as small a diameter as you want. I use 30g when they don’t have 28g in stock. 30g just takes a tiny bit longer to draw but not really enough to matter. When using smaller diameter needles it’s imperative to inject slow since the smaller size creates a pressure washer effect (higher psi). You don’t have to get crazy with it just don’t go fast. I inject .13ml over the course of about 15 secs (1 Mississippi, 2 Mississippi…). Then after I leave the needle in for another 15 secs, pull it halfway out and leave it for 5 secs and then remove, put my finger on the hole and very gently massage with very little pressure. This keeps the oil from coming back out as much as you can.
I see no need to use a 28 gauge needle. They have the same inner diameter as a 29 gauge, but a bigger outer diameter.
27 gauge makes a big difference over 28 or 29 in my experience. Filling time of like 20 seconds vs 3 minutes with a 28-29 gauge.
If it takes you 3 minutes with a 28g then you’re in Alaska outside in the middle of winter. Put the bottle in your hand for 20 secs and warm it up. Thera no way it takes that long.
Injecting 125 mg of Test E 250 mg/mL, not 28.6 mg. I think 2-3 minutes is accurate.
The plus with my doc is you basically have free range to do what you want at the cost of any hand holding whatsoever.
I was under the impression you were talking about drawing 1ml in 3 mins which I don’t think is accurate unless the oil is very cold but regardless it’s not long enough to matter either way.
I’ll time mine tonight. 0.325ml
Oh yea about that…do I have to warm the vial under hot hand washing sink water for 20 seconds every time I inject and what does this do? Do you think pinning 27G everyday would hurt?
27g is fine. I just put the bottle in my hand and make a fist while I do something else. Doesn’t take long. It’s not always necessary either.
When you make a fist you do it under hot running water?
