At your age, we should be looking for a correctable cause. Low-T is the symptom. We need to know these lab results that impact T levels and energy:

  • LH/FSH
  • E2 - estradiol
  • prolactin
  • AM cortisol - at 8AM please
  • AST/ALT
  • CBC
  • hematocrit
  • fasting glucose
  • fasting cholesterol
  • TSH - these three if body temps are low
  • fT3
  • fT4
  • AM cortisol

Thyroid gland, using fT3, regulates your energy levels as part of the body temperature control loop. Check oral body temperatures to eval overall thyroid function as per thyroid basics sticky. Thyroid function can be low if not using iodized salt.

Symptoms of low T and low thyroid function are mostly the same.
If outer eyebrow are sparse, that is unique to thyroid. Also feeling cold easily.

Your T levels are in no-man’s land.

Energy levels are more than your testosterone status. As well as thyroid, cortisol can be low and there can be adrenal and stress issues.
