That most likely wouldn’t help. If you are taking 150 twice a day then the product you have is not designed to be taken all at once which means you would get high peaks and low troughs of the medication. The increase in norepinephrine (which is stimulating in the CNS) is likely responsible for the “activation”, which is the technical term for that particular side effect. So if it is causing insomnia you could could try taking the evening dose a few hours earlier although I doubt that will help. If you have not been on the drug very long you may acclimate to the effect but if you’ve had this problem form more than a few months and it is intolerable, or the benefits don’t outweigh the negatives, I would suggest discontinuing it after discussing the issue with the prescriber.

Thanks anonym. I try not to post too often because I don’t think many people take kindly to unsolicited advice but sometimes there are things that need to be said. But I am always open to questions and actually enjoy talking about the pharmacology and science. I believe, if it’s handled maturely, the debates/discussions are the most fertile environment to help us learn. Myself included.
Let me know if you ever need anything. I’ll be lurking.

may I PM you a ? ,if not thats fine…thanks anyway…
My actual problem is that I woke up Saturday morning wth a hard wood ad painful rection… that last until 4pm… my GF took care of it without result… ince then, I am not able to get a full rection, not enough to penetrate my GF… I am very anxious about it. I will see my doctor tomorrow. Just hope anything is “broken”…
Uh… dude… that’s called a priapism ( Priapism - Wikipedia ), and it’s an extremely severe condition. Never, ever leave a priapism untreated - if you even approach 4 hours of arousal, get yourself to the E.R. ASAP.
I hope all’s okay with you. I don’t mean to scare you, but there have been some instances of priapism leading to amputation - it’s very rare for this to be necessary, though. Hopefully, you just have some tissue or muscle damage that will heal over time.
Well, yes… I did not know at this moment it was priapism, I’ll meet my doc this morning about it… Meanwhile, yesterday night I was able to get an erection, not as hard as what I am used to but engough to have a complete relation. So, it is probably a question of time to get healed.
I have not been on the site in months due to be abroad, but while in Germany a dr. ran thyroid work on me, my tsh came back at 3.3 is that high enough to effect t levels and to truely be considered hypothroidism? I really want to go to some of the doctors suggest on the board, but unfortunately my insurance will not pay for anyone outside of VA, and I can not afford self pay.
I called my primary care doctor today and made an appoint for monday. I basically told him that I would be coming in and getting as many labs as I want ( since if I will pay for them who should care).
I am starting now to believe my low-t and libido are probably not from poor testicular functon but rather possible from hypothyroidism. My father has it and it is throughout my family.
A year ago my tsh was 1.8, a month ago it was 3.3.
I read online that body temperature through the day is a better indicator of hypothroidism . I have only been tracking my body temps for 2.5 days, but i feel like they are way too low. I have also double confirmed the accuracy of these temps with another thermometer.

I have nearly decided to go on trt. I went to my doctor and got some of the labs I requested, but not all of them by any means. In short I am tired of feeling horrible from 19 years old to today (almost 23). I feel like I am wasted my youth. I plan on trying to get KSman’s recommended protocol listed in one of the stickies.
I have not been able to lose weight, or build muscle for atleast a year. Also, I get constant knee, ankle, and wrist inflammation type injuries that halt any work out progress. But in short I just continue to feel horrible with pratically no energy.
Questions:
I definitely want to use hcg, and inject the testosterone myself and frequently rather than every two weeks etc. Is it hard to travel with testosterone hcg for vacations and business trips (refridgeration etc)? Any idea how much hcg costs? How painful are the injections?
Recent labs ( there were afternoon, not morning )***

Too stimulating like drinking way too much coffee. That was my experience and I have see reports of others having same issues. Some do not have such problems.
When one takes a stimulant drug, one can easily go too fast and the rest of the body cannot keep up. One then feels excited and exhausted at the same time. Things get out of balance.

I just got wellbutrin, kind of a shot in the dark to help me with fatigue but my brain is wired and my body is tired if that makes sense…I think the physical fatigue is even a little worse.
