Weird Things You Have Seen at the Gym

^^ Yeah I hate that…they send some little girl about 95lbs to clean up after the stupid guys at my gym.
I’ve helped her when I’ve seen her doing her rounds, but they really need to send a guy around every 3 hours ideally. My gym’s a stupid mess.

Where were his feet positioned? Maybe he was doing some sort of glute bridge variation.
His feet were positioned in Afghanistan in a Gym(tent) filled with nothing but dudes, besides glute bridges are done on the ground it was just weird.

BWA HA HA!!! Great answer!

Yeah, I saw a guy doing lat pulldowns but using about 30lbs and moving about 3 inches. Someone said maybe he was doing partials. No…he wasn’t…just trust me, if you asked this guy if he was doing partials he’d have no clue what you were talking about.

There used to be a couple that walked around the gym HOLDING HANDS

Made me irrationally angryy.

I think they broke up.
had them too. they used to kiss in between sets. i wanted to punch both of them in the fucking nose.
The gym I used to go to had a couple like that but it wasen’t just a peck, they would hug and pet each other, yes pet.

There was a guy couple I seen there every once in awhile that had the oddest warm-up routine.

Each would sit at a lat-pulldown machine and proceed to do this, can’t even call it an excercise. Picture yourself finishing a set on this machine and reaching down to the floor beside you to get a drink of water but still facing forward and straighten up again.

He did this over and over again for a good 5-8 min, left right left right super fast staring at his reflection in the mirror. It looked idotic. For some reason that pissed me off more than any other asshatery I witnessed before I cancelled my membership and started traing at home again.

LOL at being against “cliques” on this site…as if being “the guy against cliques” isn’t also now a clique as well. I swear I see just as many people around here making sure they point out that everyone else is “nutswinging” yet they seem to think this distinction puts them outside the drama…when it really puts them right in the middle.

The opposite of love is indifference…not caring so much about other people that you spend this much time in threads complaining about cliques.

next, the opposite of love is actually hate.
Actually, it isn’t. The opposite of caring is NOT caring. Hate requires emotion towards someone.

That is why the statement, “the opposite of love is apathy” is well known.

EDIT

Nah, I was feeling indifferent today about something (apathy) and can’t let you think you taught (erroneously) someone something.

I don’t care how you heard your statement, but love is an emotion. The opposite of the emotion love is hate, at the opposite side of the continuum of emotion. The lack of “emotion” itself (which is neither love nor hate) is apathy. Your statement might be “well known”, but it is logically incorrect.
