Weird Hobbies/ Passions

last one. I collect all types of stuff for no reason. With all my free time I find my way to the range at least 2 times a month so my gun safe is bigger. But I don’t spend much on guns. Knives are the passion.
Cheap azz WASR 10 but it shoots nice with minor modifications.[/quote]

Jesus you are ready for any fucking invasion.

Decorative but usefull knot tying. Once I get going on project I completely lose track of time.

Very cool pocket knives and gadgets that he accents with wraps, lanyards and such. You weapons guys would dig it, great library of links imo. Paracord is the shit, very cheap in America, not here. I scour the fabric shops for cheaper alternatives. Old ladies look at me a little strange like WTF are you doing in a fabric shop? lol.

To be honest that is cool. I do the king cobra head laynards for my blades.
this is one I did with a old silver biker ring for my gun range bag knife.

Thats a great idea! I have an old silver eagle head ring I dont wear anymore that I could incorporate into something.

esp when you have a blade that does not have much grip or a pocket clip. I made this so I could loop it on my thumb and keep my hand from sliding up the blade if I had to baton something…

These are some of the bracelets and lanyards I’ve made. I am the Steeler fan, my wife is the Lions fan, made a handfull of these in various sports team colors for friends, a few dog collars as well. The thing with the balls at the ends is a bookmark made with a monkey fist knot.

I dig the monkey fist knot. I learned to splice line in the military. But never got the monkey fist down as far as line work. did you throw a lead ball in it?

I used a marble instead of a ballbearing, the weight was too heavy for a bookmark. I do use a ballbearing when making a key fob. I can bang out one of these things in no time now, make the knot, shove the bearing in and tighten it up.

Then I shouldn’t mention the Barry Sanders poster I allowed on the BACK of the door in my Steeler/Sports room. If I wasn’t a Steeler fan I would be Cowboy fan no doubt dude.

Just messing with you BJB you know that.

I actually do not hate the Lions, I mean how could you, they have been irrelevant forever.

Barry was a once in a life time type of back, cant hate on him either.

I can make a laynard and do a decent wrap for my mini crowbar and knives but that monkey fist is a beyatch for me for some reason, you can’t see it but I did a wrap for the Machette in the back using 550 paracord.

Nice work!, finding skulls and shit here is tough, they look great. I made a neck lanyard using a knitting spool and thin paracord for a friends neck knife, no pic but it turned out great.

This stormdrane guy wrapped the exact same knife(EOD Robotics Breacher Bar if I’m correct) you own lol, scroll down the first page.

God Bless, my new weird hobby is the CountyComm website. Thanks fuckers!

FFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUU…I can see the pictures but when I click the menus the webpage won’t display. It even has a box mentioning stormdrane, small world.

Sorry to ruin your dream, Orion, but I can’t answer your question as I’m not gay. Going out on a limb, I’d guess they would say that flex weight ad is pretty homo-erotic.

Impressive work with the decorative knots, guys. How long does it usually take you to create one on those lanyards?
