It also means that (where I live anyway) there’s a lot of Dia De Los Muerto art showing up in record stores, galleries, etc. We just bought a cool piece a couple weeks ago that we love.
Sugar skulls, pottery, paintings. All pretty cool.
Fall also means a lot of cooking the way I like best. Stews, Soups, low and slow crockpot meals, etc.
last one. I collect all types of stuff for no reason. With all my free time I find my way to the range at least 2 times a month so my gun safe is bigger. But I don’t spend much on guns. Knives are the passion.
Cheap azz WASR 10 but it shoots nice with minor modifications.

I dig the hand-grip mod on the AK. Gives it some tactical flavor
I spent all of last summer figuring out how to catch carp that wont take tough bate. Finally I just started taking them out of the water with a net. Next summer I’m going back with a bow-fishing kit.

Yeah HAHA. Man that was the fist thing I changed. Went ATI since I was not trying to spend to much on a WASR10. Everytime I go to the shop to pick up a Arsenal Variant I see a Glock I don’t have and well that is that.

Single or double stack on that thing? I remember hearing that originals were only single.

That is a single it came with it. But thats why I go to gun shows. Also the crazy MD gun laws are you can’t BUY a 30+ magazine in MD but you can OWN a 30+ magazine in MD. So I have to buy in VA. Crazy state laws. Yet I can have Ammo sent right to my front door.

Cali isn’t too far off either. “Grandfather clause” sort of thing. If you had them back when they were legal then you can keep them. blablabla.
How loose is your mag release? I have to use an allen wrench on the one I shoot.
That’s the other thing on the AR I shoot. Have to screw in a little button on the release and you can’t travel with it installed or else it’s trouble.

On the AK variant no problem. Then before I shot it I took it down and balistol the shit out of every part then next day cleaned up and took her out to the range. Most issues with cheaper Ak’s are the sites are off/bent. Mine did not have that issue.
Now that AR rule is nuts. Whats the MAG capacity for CA?
I like to treat myself to DIFFERENT unique cocktails wherever I go - I take notes and keep a record on it. I try not to have the same thing twice. I do the same thing with scotch, although not nearly as often (it’s hard to justify spending 40 bucks for an ounce and a half! LOL).
What’s interesting is that the cocktails I’ve enjoyed the most are based on (or variations of) classic cocktails that have been around for 60+ years. Fusion cocktails are interesting as well - some WEIRD stuff goes in them, but the blend of flavors generally works out. Some places even infuse their own vodka for their signature drinks. I enjoy the variety.
It’s cool, because when I had to stop doing mortgage, I was able to find work as bartender at a very nice restaurant almost instantly.

I’m guessing we are not talking about skinny margaritas here. So what is a blend that makes a Classic VS Fusion Coctail. Money?
I played Imperial Guard years ago. I had an undefeated 25 games run until I retired because a new version of Warhammer came out and I couldn’t afford both. In the end, I quit both.
My friend, against who I played usually, also retired shortly before me, after his entire squadron of Exterminators were killed by a squad of regular soldiers and a Comissair (right word in English?) with an energy melee weapon. I’ve never seen someone so unlucky with the dice…
In the same game his Land Raider (can’t remember the exact name, but a super powerful tank) was one-shot by my Vanquisher.

I hear that! It can be bloody expensive, especially if you play Imperial Guard.

Yeah. Also, with the arrival of euro all prices got “rounded up” and a box of basic units increased its price by around 60%. I wanted to play Dark Elves and started to buy stuff, but I quickly saw that no way I could afford these new and refreshing prices…
