two more lifts for 5/3/1 and then a deload week
liking this better, focusing on strength through the end of the year. i know I was waffling earlier but goal is definitely to total over 1200 at 181 now and I am on that path. Current weight is 195.
my online log fell apart.
- been online a lot less lately
- my back was FUBAR and I lost about a month of serious lifting
2 weeks before I could even go to the gym, and then all I did was rehab type movements and foam roll.
Been back at it about a month, finishing another cycle of 5/3/1
- I dropped weight on everything, reps went up, strength stayed about the same after the lay off. I lost strength in my squat.
- Don’t quit eating if you’re laid up, just be smart about it

I still have my 1200 total goal, eye on the prize. That means I need to put 100 lbs. on each of my lifts.
Okay second round of 5/3/1 after layoff from messed up back. Foam rolling is now my best friend.
Squat: 245x4
The squat was awful, I suffered pretty severely from the layoff. I should have been able to get 8. I need to work WAY harder at squat this next month.
Bench: 170x10
I am happy with the bench. Progressing well. I am doing BB bench only now.
Deadlift: 295x10
Very happy with the DL. I expect a 315x10 in a couple months.
Military Press: 105x2
Bad day, really awful. Next month will be better.
This week is a deload, works well considering the holiday week.
Squats today. 235x7. Definitely not my best.
140 x 10 for 5 sets as accessory work.
Hopefully next week is better.
