We have not been hit again because we have presented a united front to the terrorists. Now, if the congress goes to the Dems, the squabbling and gridlock will ensue. Perfect time to hit us…
I’m a teacher in Ohio. If I can think of that, won’t Osama and his minions as well?

good points. it’s long been documented (and documented by this particuar threat - i.e. al queda) that americans have no taste for war. they know that if they can just drag it out they don’t have to win because we’ll just quit.
liberal democrats are doing the job for our enemies. inciting outrage over how the war is going, calling for us to withdraw. it’ll get a lot of people killed. but at least the dems will be in power right?

Don’t need to.
Republican fear-mongering at its finest.
“Vote for a Democrat and the terrorists win.”
Weren’t the republicans in control when Sep 11 happened? [/quote]
Yes, but immediately after that, they went after the parties responsible, implemented common-sense security measures, and delivered Osama Bin Laden’s head on a…
you know I am so sick of this partisanship bull shit…we are all Americans, the major problems are caused because people want there party in power not the best man.
and if your not with us your with the enemy bull shit. This isn’t just left or right this is across the board. everyone is to afraid of loosing control of congress to do what they think is right.
Republicans saying stay the course because that’s what the republican party says not because that’s what they think,
or the Dems saying if your not against the war your not a Demarcate…

That is hilarious!
We got hit 3 weeks after HW left office and we got hit again after his son was in office for 8+ months.
It must be the Democrats fault.
ROTFLMFAO!
That is some f’ked up reasoning and proof that Ohio’s school system is f’ked!
We will get hit again no matter who is in office and you have a higher likely hood of dying in a car accident than via a terrorist attack.

It’t not like Osama can read these things called newspapers and see these things called polls where these things called numbers show our president’s approval at 36 percent, which obviously show more much, much, much more division than a 51% theoretical majority would.
What
a
retard.
(even your pre-K students could have thought of that)

This is obviously debunked by the past 6 years. There would have been no Iraq, no need to withdrawal, and shitloads of boots would be completing the mission in afghanistan. And obviously far less enemies, and without the added danger that the Iraq has given us.
Remember, your party gave us 9/11, bungled afghanistan, misled you into iraq, bungled iraq, emboldened Iran and N. Korea, created just boatloads of enemies, increased terrorism around the world by 100s of percents…so yeah It’s gonna take awhile for us and the military to fix all this shit.
I’d love to agree with you about the democrats cutting and running.
However, no one knows exactly what they stand for.
It’s difficult to determine who is the head of the party.
Is it howard “rah rah” dean? nancy “madame-clean house” pelosi?
john “pay my parking tickets lumpy you gullible turd” kerry?
bill “hit-man” clinton?
hillary “I’m a moderate, wink wink” clinton?
ted “pass the bud” kennedy?
charles “vote exactly 180 degrees from me and you’ll be fine” schumer?
At the VERY LEAST, one can surely see why the Republicans will retain all three branches of government with those “ALL STARS” waiting in the wings.
Who in their right mind would want that cabal of yipping hyenas in charge of a war effort?
HH, we know your scared.
But for the love of God man.
Please

We will forever be at risk. Luckily since 9/11 dems have been trying their best to increase funding for homeland security, and implementing the 9/11 commissions findings. If empowered there is no reason to think they wouldn’t continue to do so (but without the hindrance of republicans voting such improvements down.)
That we have tens of thousands new enemies that want revenge thanks to the presidents policies is frightening, and yes democrats would have never stupidly put us in such a postition, but we still all have to brave future dangers until democrats can fix all the things that bush has done.
I’d love to agree with you about the democrats cutting and running.

Actually they are all firmly against
“stay the course”
so at the least their position is “anti-absolute failure.”
and obviously almost all are for redeployment/same position as military.
The Republicans have only themselves to blame for their mess. Maybe Bush will find the nuts to finally veto some pork once the Democrats start generating that shit rather than his own disgraceful party.

Well, based on how absolutely fantastic having republicans in charge of a war effort went…
Now I see why liberals are libs…the same thing that makes them miss my point makes them libs. Interesting.
This had actually nothing to do with politics. Here’s an example, for you mentally challenged libs: Say I have a feud with my neighbors. If they are squabbling amongst themselves, is that not a better time to attack, than if they presented a united front to me?
You guys definitely need to sack up and think about your country, and not your petty little partisanship.

Uhh…that’s why we vote democratic?
And again…THEY ALL READY KNOW WE’RE NOT UNITED! They get news in the middle east.
