What the hell? I never implied anything of the sort. Like i keep saying I’m only posting the scientific findings of others. Is that what this “TRUTHER” thing is about? And further more why would this “TRUTHER” idea require the burial of a thread. Is it so utterly impossible that it needs to end a thread? Please explain the “TRUTHER” idea and then explain in equal detail all the reasons why it must be wrong. You have my attention.
Truthers believe the government was behind 9-11. They try and use the jet fuel not being hot enough to melt steel(even tho all it had to do was weaken the steel so it would collapse).
Lol. You guys really seem to take these things quite personally. You have experience debunking “our” claims? GREAT! Debunk away.
I cited two things only, the 9/11 commissions report and an article so thoroughly offensive to you that you cannot refute it but you can instead make post after post about how ridiculous it is. Great show me how ridiculous it is. Refute what was said and don’t cite some semantic irrelevant mis-wording’s.
Before we let this thread die I find myself being curious about one thing.
McCrystal and the other Generals said that with the time and the troops they could win this. I have to wonder will they be rolling out some new equipment we haven’t seen yet. 600 billion a year for funding has got to buy you a lot of nice toys.
No don’t let the thread die yet i think its getting interesting, though its deviating from its original point. How can a question be offensive? It is clear some of the things i have asked have offended people. I am really lost how searching for knowledge can actually offend somebody.

I agree please do debunk it all right here for me. I am truly open to all ideas. I’ve read opinions and articles on this from all sources; witnesses, and those who researched. I have never dismissed any facts. Please give me the facts to make this more clear. Honestly I’m asking somebody to enlighten me.
Also pushharder you have added nothing at all besides the interjection of some humor on what would other wise be a serious topic. While you have really made me laugh at times, I am losing my humor about this topic that i find quite serious. Honestly i find your constant joking belittling to the lives lost in the conflict of which we are debating.
No my point is no longer the steel. I no longer have a point, I just gave it away in the hopes that somebody would enlighten me. Victim? No your thoroughly fucking offensive to the lives lost. I’m asking questions to justify the deaths. I am asking to be enlightened. How are these articles, seemingly based in science so utterly impossible? What exactly would be our victory in Afghanistan? WHO EXACTLY is AL Qaeda? I want to know my enemy, my goals, and where the war originated from all before I support a war.
You truly provide one of the weakest responses I’ve ever had to read. And the worst part is you seem to really think you have nailed all the debate points. You are more average in more ways then i can begin to describe.
Deorum, consider the possibility that your posts have annoyed most of us. Your posts seem shrill and jejune even as you claim for yourself debating points.
Perhaps your ‘facts’ and debating points are not worthy of a considered response. Your knowledge of combustion, for example, seems incomplete.
You have also managed to pull this thread off topic with your irrelevant 9-ll conspiracy theories.
Let me suggest, in the kindest way I know, that you give it a rest.
I disagree. The very reason why the U.S. and its allies are in a difficult situation is precisely because the terrorists planned and live in Afghanistan (and Pakistan).
Jordan, Egypt, Somalia and even Iran do not present the logistical, cultural and geographical barriers to an invader that Afghanistan does.

Look at some creationist threads on this site.
He does not bother with facts or logic when he just KNOWS, and he can keep this up much longer than you will bother to.
Somehow staying stubbornly ignorant for dozend of pages constitutes “winning” or something like that.
Personally, I find the expenditure of so much energy to not have to face reality to be quite disturbing but he is hardly alone in this and I do not think that he does it in his daily live.

I do not think that this is about 9/11 but about Pushharders reaction to everything that was not previously officialy sanctioned by Fox News or wherever else he gets his talking points from.

Another fact that always disturbed me, while I’m throwing these off of my chest, is Steel’s melting temperature. It is ~1500 C for those who didn’t know. The odd part is that jet fuel, in its best conditions in Earth’s atmosphere, can only burn at ~ 800 C.
This is easy bullshit to address.
Steel gets quite plastic (deformable) at much lower temps. It doesn’t have to “burn” all it has to do is loose strength.
