Watches

For everyday wear i wear a simple Timex Ironman Triathlon. It’s a digital watch so there’s not much to say about it.

For all other activities i wear my Tag Heuer link series. I like Tag’s because they have an elegant style that’s timeless and have the look of an $$ watch without actually looking like a $$ watch, if you know what i mean, It’s a very fine line any watch maker walks in their designs.

I have a gold Zenith my father left me, very unusual looking and valuable, for both monetary as well as sentimental reasons.

The problem with such a watch is that I get paranoid when I wear it, so no way can I wear it every day.

I even stopped wearing it out to clubs and bars because what if it breaks, what if I get in a fight and I lose it, somebody tries to jack it, etc etc.

Paranoia aside, I’ll tell you what is cool about it : the girls love it and I’ve had bartenders clutch my wrist to see it.

Ironically, though I always carry a knife, I havent worn a watch in years. Most of the time I’d rather not know what time it is. Plus having cellphones kind of took their importance away. I used to dig the Timex Ironman’s that you could beat the shit out of tough.[/quote]
