Can you blame them ? Obama himself called this election a shellacking, which I thought was brilliant. How else can Oberman and Maddow console themselves, when the very man who they rub ointments and lotions all over just had his ass handed to him.
MSNBC is trying to be like Fox but it comes off as douchey, They need to learn from Fox more to get it down better, MSNBC was just sad lol at least Fox has class when they act douchey

Again…“MSNBC” (which I watched BRIEFLY to see what you guys were talking about)…was nothing short of painful.
Coverage was poor…opinions were FAR too biased…there was too much rambling…

Yep, MSNBC is the flip side of Fox. They picked a “side” and nothngs going to get in the way of promoting it.
Actually no, Fox treats the opposition with dignity and respect. MSNBC is Far more left than fox is right and they are douchers. At least the prime time asshats. Morning Joe is a good show though.

I’ve seen a few of the evening Fox shows where the hosts pretty much blow a gasket and talk over the token opposition person, just like MSNBC. MSNBC is FAR left and Fox is FAR right. Of course the people who like either of them would not call themselves FAR left or FAR right.

Agree. Fox is right but not like MSNBC is left. They embarrass themselves.
How about the CNN 360 degree set that allows them to show their hot anchors ass?

I tend to agree with this…which is why I watch neither (other than bits or pieces here and there…or if one of you guys say “Take a look” like Rock did with MSNBC).
Why it may be naive…I really want something like Election Return coverage to be 1) as unbiased as it can be and 2) have a nice diverse panel for discussion.
I thought that for the most part CNN did that…probably not perfect with some of you guys…but they sure were LEAGUES above MSNBC.
Note: I didn’t see any FOX coverage…but it seems like they were smart enough NOT to have one of their pudits/“talking heads” doing the coverage.

As soon as fox starts getting guys like Oriley and Beck to anchor there election coverage, I’ll accept fox is as biased as msnbc.
The other big distinction I would make is that I consider guys on fox like oriley and beck ideologues. MSNBC is full of partisans, and there is a difference. I consider one of those slightly more honorable than the other.

As if another reason is needed to detest that douchebag

Fox had thier normal Hosts for the time slot sit in on the coverage, so for instance O’Reilly was participating in the coverage as a “guest host” during his normal time slot. And actually O’reilly was pretty humble and not being as much of a blow hard as he could of been. He actually said somethings like. “I disagree with the president, but one thing I respect him for is that he isn’t dishonest, he’ll tell you what he’s gonna do he is no phony” and he also said early in the night, " I think the GOP gets the house easily, but I doubt they get the senate, the momentum is being over played" or something to that effect. I mean for O’Reilly, comments like that are pretty tame and he wasn’t sitting there just laughing and bashing the left like MSNBC’s crew was.
And i’ll repeat agin, I thought CNN had the best coverage.
Enjoyed this article about Olbermann and political donations. Hard to believe but MSNBC has a policy against donating to political candidates - and Olbermann donated to 3.
“Will MSNBC Fire Olbermann for Contributing to Political Campaigns?”

This news of Olberman being suspended just made my Friday. Seriously, if I saw him on the street I would poke him in his eye.
(Just kidding…Beck will probably get caught in some New Orleans brothel with a black hooker or something…!)
Ouch…isn’t Olberman a top earner for MSNBC?

Oh Matthews is a red face man who looks like someone is pissing on him while he has to do a broadcast! It’s all about the Obama trip and how we are all just haters of the president.
Bush actually. I’m sure that Olby is sitting in his underwear, drunk, hurling obscenities at his well worn, life-size cutout of W right now blaming him for the whole thing.
That he is. But my hope is that he takes this time off to get some of the therapy that he so desperately needs.
