Keith Olbermann Rips Hillary a New One

Fucking. Awesome.

Wow, Awesome. Thank God we have Keith Olbermann to point out when people “actually use THOSE words” in “this America”. You know, “those words” that cannot be spoken? Thank God for Keith Olbermann because, “THIS TIME” (for the 1384th consecutive time), someone has gone “TOO FAR!”

Keith Olbermann reminds me of “The Mouth” from V for Vendetta: a constantly outraged talking head on our screens shaming anyone who dare use words he deems inappropriate.

Olbermann may as well kneel down and suck Obama off and get it over with. I’m so sick of everyone thrashing around to find even the slightest imaginary slight agains Barack it makes me sick.

Olbermann is WORSE than O’Reilly, in that he loves the sound of his own voice just as much as Bill, and he loves telling people what they can’t say just as much as Bill, but he’s just plain WRONG even more frequently.

Olberman may be a douche, but he is right that Clinton seems to be saying “I’m hanging out just in case Obama gets sniped in CA.”

And she is fucked for that. It’s a strange twist on fear mongering, that’s for sure.

After surviving the horrific sniper attack in Bosnia she has earned the right to talk about someone else getting shot. She probably has PTSD.

You really don’t watch him much, do you?

I watch both him and O’Reilly semi-regularly. Olbermann is usually not angry. In fact, he’s usually mocking, with a bit of pretentiousness.

His most popular “special comments” happen to be his most passionate ones, just like O’Reilly’s most popular clippings involve him telling people to fuck off.

I used to watch him every night.

By the way, can you point out where I said that Keith Olbermann was “angry”?

In this case Hillarys comment about Kennedy was on the mark. She used it as a time line for how long Primaries go. She also used her husband as a reference point.

The Kennedy comment was blown out of proportion by obnoxious Olbermann. Robert Kennedy Jr. had absoultely no problem with the comparison.

Most in the liberal media are so transparent. We get…we get it…you want Obama to win Olbermann and you’ll say just about anything to make that happen.

I can’t make up my mind who the biggest tool for the democratic party is, Olbermann or Stewart. They both make me sick.

Olbermann, by far.

Olbermann is a fag. He and O’Reilly should marry.

That snapping sound off camera around 1 minute into the video was one of Hillary’s snipers missing.

The assassination was before super-tuesday, primaries don’t go that long anymore. The primaries now are entirely different from then, California’s primary was in April on super-tuesday. When RFK was running the primary race didnt even start until MARCH. The comparison just doesn’t exist between the two races with the new structure.

Who rapped up the nomination on April 9th, according to his own biography.

Agreed with the assassination comment being so incredibly overblown. Watching the video of it, there is no evil will there, she just said something really politically stupid and is paying the price (ten fold thanks to people being tired of her)

You do realize the word “outrage” has “rage” right in it, yes?

I didn’t realize that the presence of the word “rage” within “outrage” would cause you to misunderstand the meaning and etymology of the word “outrage”. I’m working on a good faith basis here that everyone speaks, writes and understands English and will also make a good faith effort to correctly parse sentences and words within their context.

Etymology: “from Anglo-French ‘utrage’, ‘excess’, ‘insult’, ‘the passing beyond reasonable bounds in any sense’. ‘Of injuries to feelings, principles, etc.’ Synonym: ‘Offend’.”

Have you ever noticed that the word ‘outrageous’ has the word ‘outrage’ in it, and doesn’t mean angry? I think it was clear to most people that are comfortable with the English language that I was referring to Olbermann’s tendency to report on something that has “outraged” him, that is something that has caused “excessive insult to his feelings or principles.” Many times it is something that someone has said, and Olbermann continues to lecture us on how something’s should not be said in “this America”. “THIS time they’ve crossed THE LINE!”

I didn’t comment on Bill O’Reilly either, but I figured you were just adding that in there. Bill and Keith are pretty much one and the same, except with Keith it seems about half the time he’s feigning outrage, while Bill actually seems to be truly outraged (and angry) about most of the things he reports on.

The other difference is the Fox News does not have Bill, who hosts a clearly partisan opinion show, reporting the news. MSNBC has Olbermann hosting their 2008 Election news coverage. So you have a host on a supposedly non-partisan, fact-based news broadcast asking guests questions like: “Is Hillary really going to try to steal this thing?”, “Is she going to try to pull a Bush v. Gore?”, “What she’s doing is basically like saying although the game is over and Barack won by 9 runs, I should win anyway, right?”

The fact of the matter is that Hillary has not cheated or tried to “steal” anything. The Democratic nomination process is setup to include the votes of party elder superdelegates that vote independently of the pledged delegates. The superdelegate role was created expressly for that purpose. If Hillary can convince enough superdelegates to commit to her to win, she will have won fair and square within the rules. For the host of a supposedly non-partisan news program to imply on a broadcast that Hillary would need to “cheat to win” is beyond the pale.

Outrage - 3: the anger and resentment aroused by injury or insult.

I’m not disagreeing with the statement… he was angry. He didn’t seem like he was faking at all, just like he was in control of it.

And Countdown is just as much an editorial as the No Spin Zone is. I only mentioned O’Reilly to prove I’m not a huge fan of either. My bad, apparently.

Poor Olby, his Bush derangement syndrome has become so virulent that it is now spilling out into other areas. It is obvious that he is totally in love with the sound of his own voice, just like that bootlicker Jon “I’m smarter than you” Stewart.

Fuck Olbermann, the guy is an uppity, snobbish, elitist, condescending prick. And fuck Jon Stewart and the legions of brain dead stoners who live in their moms basement that worship him.

Actually, I think there is something seriously wrong with anyone who has his own TV show with his name in the title.

Conan O’Brien?

People actually want to vote for one of the two Democratic idiots? 57 states? Auschwitz? Bosnia? Assassination? They’re all absolutely fucking idiots.

I still want Tiki Barber for President. He’s smarter and more eloquent than any of these 3 clowns.

I understand your counterpoint…but do you really think there’s nothing seriously wrong with the ConeZone?
