This stuff pisses me off. It gives comfort to the enemy but it does not have any real effect on bringing the troops home.
They’re just setting the stage for cutting off funding for the troop surge. If they can get enough repubs to sign on to this worthless “Nyah, nyah, we don’t like Bush!” bill, then they can move forward with cutting the spending.
I guess the dems were rushing their “first 100 hours” agenda through specifically so they could get to this point, of telling the troops “We support you! (But we’re going to cut your funding anyway because this war is no longer popular.)”
I for one, fully support our new Democrat overlords. But I don’t support their mission.

It pisses me off because we are paying these assholes to “send a message to the White House.” The PEOPLE have already spoken! The public was clear when they gave the dems the majority back in both houses. Now it seems like the stupid legislators are reiterating what WE already said!
Plus WTF is a law that does nothing? It’s meaningless and they must think that we are stupid.
