Yeah, there is a 20 hour cooldown on smelting Titansteel, so that makes sense.
To be honest, he would have been better served to grind Ebon Blade rep. That way he’d have had the weapon sooner, and could have started farming Naxx.

Red Sword of Courage, drops from Utgarde Pinnacle. Not a bad tanking sword as I recall. If I were that guy, I’d try get Slayer of the Lifeless (as foretold by Salzman).
I’ve never played – my fantasy gaming days ended right around Dragon Warrior IV – but I enjoyed reading this thread.
I wonder what that makes me.
Currently I’ve got a lvl 80 Warrior.
And I used the RAF program to dual box up a few alts:
60 Shaman
60 Shaman
56 Mage
56 Pally
60 Druid
37 Priest
37 lock
37 rogue
60 hunter
58 DK
Everyone is alliance side on the Baelgun server except for the DK who is horde side on the same server.
Yeah. . . I dual box. What of it?!
I think my Hunter could take him in PVP World of Warcraft
Nothing sexier than guys that are big and strong and good in WoW!
Not being sarcastic.
going to put decent gear on the pally before linking her
Ok, so you guys should appreciate the genius of what’s happening here.
My guilds is going to try a new strategy we have dubbed “The Trojan bear” where our MT, a druid, will eat a large feast, while 39 of us will eat small feasts, hide inside the bear, and try to infiltrate stormwind.
I’m not really a fan of pvp, but this is just too awesome not to try.
Randomalliance: "Hey, look at that dumb bear. I’m going to get him. " attacks
39 Horde swarm out of bear and kill alliance.

You can also try setting 39 people on follow with the same toon (your druid MT) as the focus. That way 39 people stack directly on top of each other behind the MT, nobody will clue in that there’s 39 of you there.
Now if only it was 39 priests and mages so that you could fire of a combo of holy nova and arcane explosion together AoE death and healing would abound.
STU
Everquest is stil the superior game.
aahhh… WoW…I quit about 3 months into BC. Had a NE Rogue that was Sword Spec.
Did that cos I got a Thunderfury REALLY REALLY early (one of the 1st ten or so). And yes, I got it over the tanks…haha! (actually, it was cos I was the only one capable of making the sword happen, I was a mining whore back then!)
I used to have a lot of fun soloing some of the easy bosses and rare spawns for drops in the higher lvl dungeons before they nerfed stealth for a bit.

On my priest in AV back before BC - after they implemented cross-server pvp I would just find a tank with a thunderfury and follow behind him healing him while he devastated the alliance. Nothing could stop us, it was awesome. I even had “/target name” macros for the better geared tanks in my battlegroup (very useful for fighting the general at the end so I could target and heal the tank, since of course It was always me and maybe a resto druid who bothered healing out of 40 people!
)
Anyway I’m pretty much done. While playing that game I gained 70 lbs over 4 years. Haven’t touched it since december.
I lost weight playing this game. I’m just less tempted to snack on shit now. Too much to do.
Has anyone else noticed that it’s mostly women that roll a healing class? Is DPS and Tanking too much of a brain drain? Or perhaps it’s the power trip from knowing the raid NEEDS you.

Yeah I quit video games a long time ago when I realized I was extremely good at them, I played counter strike and DOTA mostly, but eventually realized that it meant nothing to anyone but other people that play those games.
I look at it like this, everything you do should benefit you in a permanent way.
Lifting nets you muscle, strength, etc.
Networking with friends obviously nets you friends, connections, social opportunity to meet others.
Going out with girls, relationships, etc, can even be said to advance the long term goal of marriage, kids, etc.
Studying/working/etc, obviously future career, earnings potential, job security, etc.
All video games give you is an extensive knowledge of the mechanics of that game, and some what faster reflexes/hand eye coordination.
You spend hours, and while entertaining, you have nothing to show for it, nothing of real value.
Once you realize these games “gain” you nothing, you’ll do what I ended up doing, getting extremely good, then realizing it goes no where once you’re there, and quitting.[/quote]
well said, hope u actually realized that before any monumental phases in your life

Ya I lost weight when I was gaming pretty hardcore because I would skip meals and not snack much, and from the few LANs I’ve been to that would seem to be the norm despite the “lol fat nerd” stereotype.

Actually, I planned meals around Warcraft. It actually helped me eat 6 times a day. As much as I love the game, I’m not missing my fewds and workouts.

Unfortunately the prime of my gaming days were not a shining light on my gym dedication, but w/e it’s all different now, I’m not embarrassed about it or anything, was fun times.
I was a tank back in the day for the orginal naxx/aq40… man that was fun stuff. I quit when I hit 70 two days after BC came out. I wish, oh i wish that that I could sit down and play a death knight. I know however I would probably drop out of college.
I was really addicted to WoW… 80 warrior, 80 lock, 70 priest, 70 rogue… I quit about a week ago actually, lost interest and didn’t like the way it was heading either. Raping all content and waiting for Ulduar got too boring for me – achievements aside.
I don’t regret playing. It does cosume souls, though. lol.
