war protesting taken to new extremes

restless,
You are a bad person. You called us terrorists. Let me define terrorist for you. A terrorist uses indescriminate violence to achieve an end. Do we use indescriminate violence? Did you actually read beyond the headlines and see what happened in that extremely sad case of the civilians killed? Of course you didn’t, in the Anti-American haze that you live in, you read the headlines and then used that to spout your hatred. Reports out today stated that the iraqi’s filled that bus with women and children. They told the civilians that their husbands and fathers were being held and would be killed if they didn’t get on that bus. Then they instructed the drivers to drive right at the checkpoint. Notice that we lost four brave Marines the other day when a taxi driver drove up to a checkpoint? We told the driver to stop. He refused. We fired a warning shot. He didn’t stop. We fired at the radiator. He didn’t stop. Then we had to stop the bus. I hate that this had to happen. However, the Marines had an absolute right to defend themselves. I’m wasting my breath, but I want you to think about how often this regime has used human shields and killed their own civilians. When viewed in this context, the inevitable conclusion is that this report is 100% acccurate.
Oh, to you, and the rest of the malcontents, if we were really interested in indescriminate killing, what would stop us? You? What a joke. We use precision weapons to avoid casualties. Do you think real terrorists risk lives in order to bring food to the iraqi’s? The problem with your kind of hatred is that it narrows your focus down to the point where you are incapable of seeing the wider picture. Again, you have shown yourself to be a hate-monger of the first order. You are a bad person.

Restless: I may have proven that I can read, but you have proven that you cannot. Your statement of the shooting of 5 children gives the impression that US military just walked into a house, grabbed 5 children, and killed them. Instead the truth is that they were in a van. This van was told to stop, and did not. After experiencing car bombing it is not unreasonable to not trust a van with a driver acting erratically. Being that it was a van I am fairly certain that nobody could have seen into the van. So obviously your complaint is that the marines are not psychic.

Knowing how Iraq will do anything, I would not doubt that this van was filled with recently shot kids, and intentionally driven in a way that the marines had to shoot. The Iraqi government has been placing military targets near civilians, and using children for shields, in the hopes that civilians will be killed in hopes that it will upset people against the US.

I never used the term “towel head” and do not like the implication you are making. I have never agreed with people who cannot win an argument deciding that anyone who disagrees with them must be a bigot. This bigotry trick might fool some people who go for emotion before intelligence, but people are becoming aware of this for the deception it is.

I have yet to hear anyone explain why when almost 50 countries are involved with the Iraq war that only America is to blame. No other country is spoken about. This bias is obvious. And too much of the foreign media is obviously anti-American. An example is when the Mirror said that Peter Arnett was fired for “telling the truth.” This is total crap. For him to go on Iraq run TV and tell them in effect that we are failing, and they are winning was not only ridiculous, but also causes troops that would have otherwise given up safely, to be killed in a longer combat. He may have extended the war due to his foolish comments. He just wasn’t intelligent enough to understand warfare. I expected the troops to slow down when they got close to Baghdad. They wanted to let other troops to catch up so they can have an overwhelming force against the toughest of Iraq’s forces.

This is no different then when foolish people were yelling that Afghanistan had repelled every invading force, and America didn’t know what it was getting into. Uh yeah right.

Everyone: I want to mention that online here it is hard to tell if people are getting upset or not. I had a friend and co-worker who I would debate with almost every day. 85% of the time we disagreed with each other. But never once did we raise our voices, or get angry at one another. While I haven’t seen him in a while, I still consider him to be a friend.

restless,
I posted something you might want to read under the off-topic section titled, “I am a geek.” I don’t think you are a geek. However, you are bad.
United States=Good Guys.

War / Violence isn’t necessary the solution to a conflict. The late Gandhi dit it very much so without.

tassen,
Let me add a postscript to your quote. Unless the guy across the way puts people in wood shredders and has pictures of the planes flying into the World Trade Centers painted on his palace walls.
