And there it is: CPS>Legal system.

I don’t see how you drew your above conclusion from what I wrote. I worked with the family for months, the attorney worked with the family for months. The judge just reads a report from all the attorneys and caseworkers involved. It’s not a matter of CPS>legal system. It’s a case of one group looking out for the kid and one group mainly being concerned with the parents.
I’m pretty sure I didn’t have a god complex. I wasn’t an investigator. I didn’t personally remove kids from their homes. I worked with the families after the kids were removed to try to get the parents to take steps to prevent future abuse/neglect so they could be reunited. That is the angle we came at it from–what can we do to help these families function better so their kids are safe. It wasn’t about judging or punishing.

I work a local government job. Both sides are looking out for their own job; it has nothing to do with looking out for the kids or parents. If the government is going to be involved in parenting issues, then a judge should be the one to make decisions.
I said that I wasn’t saying YOU had or have a god complex, just that pretty much all of the CPS workers I’ve ever dealt with seem to.
LEGALIZE IT…but DAMN does it NEED to be 18, 19, 20+ Percent THC??
I’m for legalizing it at around the ‘‘Dazed And Confused’’ 70’s THC Levels which were WAYYY lower
which made it more mellow and fun.
I wanna chill man, I don’t wanna not go to the fuckin’ 4th Dimension every session
and peer out my curtains every five minutes thinking The Men In Black are after my ass.

What that means , is you don’t have to smoke two joints . All you have to do is take a couple hits . It has to be more healthy to smoke less
One didn’t need to smoke 2 joints back then to get nicely stoned,
it wasn’t THAT weak, lol.
But I get your point…What I DO like about todays stuff compared to
old school schwag, No seeds!

Because seeds are a commodity , I remember some differnt pots when I grew up. Some that were very mild , even pleasant to smoke , nice mild buzz , Those were the days ![]()

It happens everytime prohibition raises its ugly head.
The original prohibition turned a nation of wine and beer drinkers into hard boozers.
The quality of cocaine and heroin has gone up too.

So true , why sell a product that takes gallons rather than ounces
The war on drugs is one of americas greatest failures. 40 yrs into it weve locked up millions of non violent offenders with draconian sentences. Pretty much 1yr per gram. And what do we have to show 4 it? Drugs are more prevelant then ever plus drugs are stronger. The war on drugs is just grand standing politicians to get votes. Its done way more harm then good. Just like prohibition was a massive failure the war on drugs is 20x worse. Its created the cartels and a revolving door prison sytem for the poor & minorities. Hopefully someday we end it but i doubt ill see it untill all the rightwing theocrats finnally die off

Of course because they are the good guy ![]()
All made possible by Americans’ total lack of understanding in regards to freedom.
That & politicians on a local level use tough on crime retoric to get votes. Not to mention americans dont mind stuffing minorities into the meatgrinder that is our criminal justice system.

Exactly. Pretty much all activities not essential to life are only enjoyed by a minority, so government needs only take advantage of the fact that almost no one stands up for the rights of others.
