One thing you guys never understand about New Jersey is that it isn’t like “The Sopranos”. On that show, you see only one county, which is right around where I live.
However, after about the Raritan Bridge, shit goes downhill. It turns into something that I lovingly named “Pennsyltucky”. Because its like a little Alabama right here in NJ. Some of the people have Southern accents, they drive pickup trucks, and it takes you about an hour to get from your house to Dunkin Donuts. It is truly horrifying.
Now, if you go too far West in New Jersey, again, hillbillys everywhere. It turns into Pennsylvania about 100 miles from the Delaware.
And you go North…christ. Look up “Jackson Whites” on the internet. We stay the hell out West Milford and Sussex Counties. Clansmen and inbreds.
Kind of like Texas ;)[/quote]
A’ight, settle down, homeboy.
I might live in Texas but I’m NOT from here. I’m from a little farther north than you - CT. And I’ve lived outside Philly, in PA, right by the Delaware River. I could see Trenton from the end of my street. And I’ve been in Jersey a few times, though not enough to stay, obviously. ![]()
And I’ve never watched the Sopranos. All my Jersey exposure is from actually being there. ![]()
