The only other language I speak is “Navy”.
Picked it up in my youth and became fluent in it while working on a 73 Chevy van with a 307 V-8 shoved in an engine compartment designed for a six. Changing the spark plugs took hours and I always broke at least one porcelain.

I later perfected it when I owned a '63 MGB. Fun car, but what a nightmare. To this day British engineering makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up. You know, Lucas electrics (the Prince of Darkness) dual carbs and two six volt positive ground batteries. This is why I don’t own any British bikes (although I lust after the Brough Superior SS100).

Stop it Gojira - you’re making me horny.

I could get kinky and talk about timing the magneto on a 1940 Indian:
with the inspection hole on the primary cover and the mag cover removed, slowly, very slowly turn over the engine with the kick starter while at the same time…

This is me about to take my son out for a ride a few years ago. He’s 14 now, and even though the quality isn’t great, this is one of my favorite pics. Back when “parent” wasn’t a bad word yet.

Hang on for about another 6 years and it won’t be a bad word again.

Chinadoll no wonder you are always smiling. What a beautiful sight to wake up to every day. You would be too.
Aww why thank you! The bay view and chinaman’s hat I can see from my house…

obscure fact: I will be in a calender going on sale on Australia Day here in NYC, its for charity for a young aussie kid who needs special treatment who can only get it here in the states.

They just needed footballers who play for the New York team and all we had to do was show up, plus they were giving us free beer, which we paid for anyway, since its all for charity

PS: you can buy one at www.theaussiesarecoming.com
Doooooood! The Rangers just retired your number this weekend!

Sonny, you look just like a “Sonny”, you fit your name perfectly.

An italian gladiator? hmmmm…

I chose the name in honor of Sonny Corleone. I think James Caan is great in The Godfather, even though he doesn’t get a lot of screentime. Very alpha.

On a sidenote, what part of Mass. are you in?

Reason I ask is I used to live in Boston and went to UMASS-Amherst.

Haha!

LET’S GO RANGERS!

Absolutely fucking not. Once again though, this guy may be from South Jersey…otherwise known as “Pennsyltucky” to those of us from North Jersey.
K, something tells me there’s a REASON for that name…

hahah chill homies there’s a lotta wacky shit on this board so i was just testing the waters haha. i am from north jersey, which i consider a separate state from anything south of exit 115 or so. a true fun fact about me is that i have gotten through college for the last 3 years with no textbooks whatsoever… study hunnies are the way to go!!!

Well, we all knew this. Have you gotten rid of the METRO-sexuality though, that’s what we are mainly concerned with here.

I’d really hate for you to lose any more sleep over your “concerns”, so I will relieve them with a resounding YES - he is too busy DLing 400lbs+, being brilliant and living life to stress too much over what distant persons consider to be a gender-slanted view of qualitative data (namely, colours).

I really appreciate your concern, though. All the best, my friend!

After meeting Nate this weekend, I have to agree with proxy that Nate is an awesome guy! What a pleasure to meet him, and we’ll be looking for both of you at the next Test Fest.

Proxy, I have some nosey questions for you. First of all, did you and Nate really meet chatting on the forums? Is that where it all began? If so, which threads did you first start chatting on? It would be cute to go back and read them. (Yes, I do have a life believe it or not)

Also, I get the impression that your family is quite traditional (if I am reading what you wrote correctly). If so, how did you get into lifting and what does your family think of your hobby?
