My E2 is currently 39 pg/ml. I’d like to lower it to 22 pg/ml. I’m currently taking 200mg test Cyp per week, and 1 mg Anastrozole per week. My total T is 1230 ng/dL. I divide the Test and Adex into two doses per week. How much more Adex should I add? Should I double it to 2mg per week? I’m currently 185 lbs and about 12% bf.
Any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks!
If you moved the 0.5mg E3D up to EOD the serum levels wouldn’t be tapering off before the next dose. It would be better to ease down to the mid-twenties than overshoot and have low E2 sides.
Thanks C27. I plan on taking your advice and tweaking it slightly in an effort to help keep track of my dosing schedule. My plan is to take .5 mg anastrozole Mon - Wed - Fri. That’s an extra .5 mg per week. I’ll see how I feel. If I feel good after a couple of weeks, I’ll get a blood test to see where my e2 falls. Then, I’ll take it from there.
I just wanted to provide an update. So, I’ve been on the higher dose of anastrozole for a little over a week, and I feel fantastic. As a recap, I switched from 1 mg to 1.5 mg of anastrozole per week. I’m amazed at how much difference it has made. My mood is great. I shed some of the water I was holding onto (about 4 lbs of it), and my energy levels are up. I was feeling sleepy driving home after work the last several weeks, and no more!
I plan on getting some blood work done next week to see where my levels are. They were at 39 pg/mL. I’m pretty sure I’m closer to the sweet spot now… at least I feel that way. I didn’t realize how much E2 levels contributed to overall effect of TRT.
Just my 2 cents… how do you feel? Do not get caught up in numbers, everybody is different. My e2 is now increased to 35, I feel like superman, I have had it at 26 & 19, felt ok, but not like I do now and my total T is lower have had it as high as 1300…Its about what numbers make you feel the best.
True. Some guys feel great with their e2 all over, and some only feel well in a 2 pt range. Do what works for you.
