“I remember one incident that happened to me at lunch. I weighed about 330 at the time and came to lunch ready to eat like a horse. Upon getting up, I was, to put it mildly, sufficiently filled. When I arrived back at the Marine Barracks I found myself feeling rather strange sensations going on in the region of my stomach. I made a hasty retreat to my bed and lay upon my back for five hours taking short panting breaths because I found that deep breathing caused even more pressure on the stomach. Thereafter I made quite certain that the rice was well cooked before I loaded up the tray” (Randall and Roach)

Was serious. I would say the one I have only converges slightly, and I would prefer the movement to simulate dumbell pressing, like really bringing the hands together at the top.
This one doesn’t converge drastically. I’d say probably less than dumbbells for sure.

It is also possible that the one I have converges more than I think. I just don’t like it. Most of our stuff is Hammer Strength…some of it is great, some of it is awkward.

So far the best equipment I’ve tried in terms of fit finish and natural ROM with very good convergence is Prime. Love that stuff

Thinking maybe Friday getting a back workout in and doing arms during The Weeknd and saving my leg day for Monday when hopefully I’ll be fully recovered.
Been keeping the food up as well as getting in bed early.
Currently sitting at about 4100 calories a day (not including the high calorie sauces I’m using either) and weight has been maintaining this week, even without working out. I’m running out of times during the day to add another meal so I’m going to try and change dinner around.
Right now it’s 5.5-6oz of salmon and 240 grams (pretty sure it’s 240) of rice. I need something quick and easy because it’s so late. I’m thinking of switching to shrimp and sketti noodles with marinara sauce.
Anyone else have some ideas? Thought about adding a daily trip to Taco Bell too lol
I know this isn’t the flame free topic, but I had Taco Bell yesterday, twice. Their breakfast is soooo good, and they are not like the other places like Mcdonald’s or Wendy’s where breakfast is between $6-8. I get the bacon hashbrown burrito it is a big burrito for $1.99. Even the combo with the cinnibun things (which are amazing, but I am embarrassed to admit I eat them) is $4.50.
This bad habit will end after the blast. I haven’t had much appetite, so I am resorting to these measures to keep gaining. Still having trouble honestly. Been between 215 and 220 for the last few week. I’ll go back to the protein shake and prepped lunch after while cutting.
Due to work and life and getting home too late to cook I had it for dinner last night too! 3 soft taco surpremes, and a crunch wrap supreme with a diet Baja blast. It’s amazing.
When I had a coach he actually said Taco Bell was a great cheat meal and the macros weren’t terrible. Quality, maybe, but macros were good

They have DIET BAJA BLAST? I have been getting diet pepsi like a peasant. Cause even though I don’t like it, I am not going to drink regular pop.
Yeah, some of it isn’t too bad. The chipolte chicken wraps are like 190 calories with 12 grams of protein. Not all fast food is created equal. Wendy’s isn’t actually too bad if you get diet soda, and you opt for the chili instead of fries (which is a free substitution).
When I’m at work, I usually bring a can of salmon and throw some garlic and herb bread crumbs on it like John Meadows recommends and eat that. Pretty great meal.
Also I’m right there with you, I love Taco Bell and Diet Baja Blast… even though they took my favorite items off the menu (shredded chicken mini quesadilla, beefy Fritos burrito, and power burrito)![]()

Definitely agree with taco bell being number one. My go to was 3 cheesy gordita crunches and a chicken quesadilla. I wish they still had the volcano sauce though, that stuff was the best.
That cheddar shell chalupa thing was amazing. Surprised that did not make the long term menu.
IDK what they were thinking with the chicken shell chalupa though. Just doesn’t seem right to form ground chicken into a taco shell.
