Woke at 210.4. Gonna start keeping track of my weight because 1. I wanna be cool like everybody else, 2. It will help motivate me to not get any fatter.

Dumbbell curls
Ez bar curls
Chin ups. First time I’ve ever tried doing these. Fairly easy to get 12+ after some serious curling action. Due to wrist issues though I’m not really sure if they hit my biceps very good.
Deadlifts were absolute trash. 3 days ago 365x10x2 was no problem, today 225 felt like it was going to break me in half
New leg machine is nice but I’m going to have to buy some steel plates, I can only get 150lbs worth of bumpers on it.
Destroyed quads and hammies. Hamstrings feel very awkward doing leg curls, especially the left leg.
Calf raises holding #155.
I guess I’m just gonna have to eat more. Apparently my strength comes from food. Kind of annoying. Current choices are be skinny and weak or fat and strong
Good work man. The comment about a mouth guard might make 2 of us. Last week dead lifts made my left eye hurt from grinding out a last rep, surprised I didn’t pop a blood vessel. Just means your working hard keep at it
Great day today. Called into work today, went and road my mountainbike and then came home and worked out. Headed to a steak house with the wife and no kids now!

195 x 10 - pretty good bit of body language.
Lots of dumbbell curls
Lots of ez bar curls
May have done a slight bit of shoulder work to get a little blood in them for date night
Thanks man!! I felt like an animal. I even barked at my wife while holding the weight
First time I’ve conventional deadlifted over 300. 405 felt great. I’m gonna try and keep the progression slow and linear. I think my issues lately have been jumping weight too soon. I have a rep goal with every exercise and when I hit that without a lot of body English or poor form I’m gonna move up. I’m also going to quit tearing my maxes all the freaking time. Not only is it a waste of time but it’s damaging my mental state lol
Woke at 210.0 had a ton of food to day and woke be waking at 210 tomorrow
Started today off with a 9 mile mountain bike ride with some good climbs and some short downhill sessions. Hit a 5’ drop I’ve had my eye on for a while, lots of fun.
Bench
225 x 5
225 x 5
225 x 4… so close lol
OHP
165 x 8
Left shoulder felt like it was about to explode so I stopped. Did some light weight very high rep dumbbell OHP’s to still punish the shoulders
Reverse grip bench press

165 x 10
175 x 10
90* bent over neutral grip rows
95 x 12
95 x 12
95 x 12
Did a bunch of dumbell straight arm raises going over my head.
Did a bunch of side lateral raises.
Bunch of rope pull downs
Skipped dips due to shoulder acting up.
@biros so a lifting no mouth guard came in the mail for me today! Wife ordered it for a Father’s Day gift. It’s freaking awesome. I followed the directions on placement when I formed it but feel I’d like it better farther back in my mouth, hitting the rear molars instead of a little farther up. Really helped keep my face from getting so flushed and full of blood.
Skipped workout yesterday and went kayaking with the whole family. I paddled a tandem with son up front and did a couple miles towing my 7 year old in her own kayak. While I towed her I gave it everything I had, wife couldn’t even keep up. Slept a lot of that lol.
Woke at 211 today
Woke up at 6:30 and thought I’d get an early start working out. Worked up to 405 x 1 deadlift and felt like I was made of cement, so I quit.
Afternoon workout
Did some squats with the wife. Kept it under 300. Felt ok but still not ready to start squatting again.
Deadlift
405 x 5
Felt horrible, lots of uncomfortableness in my back.
