No way they kill the main character’s baby daughter. It wouldn’t seem believable after the way he reacted to losing his wife. You’d just expect him to stop caring about the world and kill himself.
Carol and Daryl seem to be building something so it could mean they both die in some pseudo-romantic way. Glenn or Maggie could die but I see no point. A quality death to a prominent character in cinema should be poetic or be slowly built. Michonne will live. Andrea will die (hopefully).
I could actually see Rick dying, although highly unlikely. He’s been the main character on the show and in the comics. On one hand he’s what’s holding the show to the previous seasons but on the other he’s not bringing anything new and people need something fresh each season. The best way to revitalise a show without starting over is to kill/lose the main protagonist while keeping some characters from the past the audience can generate nostalgia from. Another way is to create an enigmatic plot arc. Lost stayed on air for like 6 years because the audience wanted answers. In that sense, I agree with Flashback who said they need some kind of cure/goal to strive for and keep the show’s story strong. Right now the show is living off the conflict between the two groups, which won’t and can’t last long.

Good points but isn’t the whole show about survival? And finding a new haven of sorts where they can have a safe place for re stabalization? I would think a huge boat like a navy destroyer or an island would be pretty smart

I think the only goal they need is survival for now. They can all hope for a cure but I don’t want to see a Scifi scene with a lab in the alps working on it. I think the show is about a NEW WORLD and what this group or whatever people are left are willing to bring into it from the old world.
Can they afford to live by the old world laws, can they survive and still stay what we now call civilized? The Adults will have a tougher time letting go and that is what keeps me whatching. What are we willing to give up to remain safe?
Oh and the only way I see rick offing himself is if something happens to his son…And we are still not sure Rick believes that baby is his (not that it matters its still a baby)
Also, I enjoy wondering just how far humans will go to survive.
So there’s a huge spoiler (a series of pictures) floating around the web, showing a main character who gets killed by the end of this season, and it’s been confirmed in a few different places.
I won’t link to it, I felt bad enough for the Shane one a while back, but it should be easy enough to find. Be super-warned though, if you go looking, you might not like what you find. Some sites are terrible about labeling the spoiler as such and give it away on the first click.
Without saying too much, a character gets killed by another character and, though I’ve only seen the few pics and no episode summary, it pretty clearly opens the opportunity for a badass revenge kill.
I suspected at least one member of the prison group would get killed by seasons end. I just fear this governor thing will get dragged on for another season.
Well I do know that some of the actors have conflicting schedules with other movies, shows, and projects for season 4… Don’t want to say much else though or risk spoiling anything… I have a pretty good feeling about what happens though, and I also couldn’t help but read predictions lol
Anyone liked the look of Rick during his talk to the Gov? He really didn’t say much, but the face was doing a good talking: “What the fuck am I doing in a room with this guy” and “Do I kill him now” were certainly on this face.
Andrea gotta die soon, it’s getting super annoying. Seeing her on that chair gave me hope though
The build up to the big confrontation really takes too much time, they’re dragging that and the last episode 10,000 things will happen. Dunno why they feel like they have to send everything back, instead of keeping it interesting…
Waiting for the Gov to die, but hopefuly really in a nasty way, would love to see Michonne get at him like she does in the comics…

Oh man she brutalizes him in the comics. Big time revenge kill. I am up in the air as to who will kill him. Andrea? Rick? Merle? Daryl? Michonne? Glenn? Milton lol?

I dont care as long as his dick gets nailed to the floor! Seriously though, michonne does some nasty shit to him in the comics, but really his comic death was so unsatisfying for me.

It’s got to be Merle.
He just doesn’t fit in with the crew. He’ll die a noble death or a chickenshit betrayal death, but nothing in between.
His brother will put him down because it’s always the closest person to the new zombie who puts them down. It’s the Walking Dead Next of Kin Rule, shown by Andrea and her sister, the annoying kid and his mother, and the Sherriff and Shane (who was effectively his brother).
Also, the Mexican with the Govenor will die. I know this because they introduced his softer side when talking to Merle’s brother. This is the T-Dog Rule, most recently demonstrated by the prison who got popped in the head.

Yes, I am a wizard.
If the writers are smart, they wouldn’t kill Merle. As someone else pointed out earlier, the reason Daryl is so loved by the fans is tat he has become more human as the show has gone on. Merle, Martinez and the Doctor guy are the only other characters that are in the same spot. Martinez and the Doctor are simply too much of an outsider too reman a part of the cast, however, Merle has a legitimate chance of doing this.

Well, these are the writers that brought you T-Dawg, Lori, and Andrea.
I believe that someone was me. And I don’t disagree with you (or me or whomever it was). This is why I lean toward a noble death or a highly disappointing betrayal death.

And Michonne lol.
Loved last nights Ep. Really going to miss that crazy SOB. Went out like a champ. Seriously, it is funny how the character who was a scumbag, racist, masochist and general shit storm creator was so damned loved by the fans while others who were ‘good people’ caused fans to cheer when they turned into zombie fodder.

RIP buddy. You will be missed.
x 2 … I kinda like him. He proved to be a good person under all that crap.
