I don’t get. Does Rick and everyone understand that Michone was with Andrea all this time?
No. Michonne has no idea that Rick’s group knows Andrea or Merle.
I disagree. I think Michonne has figured out that Rick et al. are Andrea’s former group but due to her distrusting nature is holding her cards close to the chest … really close to the chest.

It’s hard to imagine that Andrea never once reminisced about her old group or relayed any information about them to Michonne in the 6 months since Andrea and Rick’s group have been separated.
This. Michonne probably has most, if not all the parts put together, but since information is power, why would she give Rick everything right away?

If she was observant enough to hear how to get to the prison, I’m sure she figured out Rick’s group knows Merle, and probably even has figured out that Daryl is his brother. After all, Merle asked Andrea about his brother in front of her and probably picked up on his name, and the fact she saw Merle confront Glenn and again ask about his brother.

She’s distrusting, and won’t readily give out more information than what she sees as currently needed/relevant.

I also like how she decided to observe how Rick’s group fights the walkers instead of engaging the walkers with them. I still have hope they don’t ruin her character.
If you’re right, then the writers really do hate women, because that vaults her into the pole position for dumbest cunt on the show.
all misogyny aside, can you elaborate?
I’m thinking it might be due to them trying to infiltrate Woodbury. The fact that a former member of their group is in there along with the brother of one the group members might be pertinent information. At what point does she say, “oh, by the way Daryl, your crazy brother is in there”?
I would think that Merle would be the last person she would talk about even if she did talk all that much. They were glad to be rid of him.

I’m sure Andrea mentioned Rick, Shane and some of the others, but why would she bring up Merle? It’s not like either of them are super chatty.

Michone might have made some connections, but I doubt she made them all or that Andrea even told her everything y’all seam to expect her to know.
Michonne was there when Merle talked about his brother with Andrea so she didn’t need Andrea to tell her about Merle. It was no longer a secret, if it had been up to that point, that Merle and Andrea knew each other. She also witnessed Merle confront Glen where again, he asked about his brother. I’m guessing it will come out at some point that Michonne withheld information and there will be the ensuing Rick speech on how, “we trusted you.” Maybe that will get Michonne to break into a smile.
Yeah, I wasn’t thinking about that.

I dont blame her for not trusting anyone though.

But, now I’m reminding myself of when I defended Lori before I finally came around to the fact she was just an awful character.

Well she did show off her ass in a nice white thong last night too.

At least in the zombie apocalypse, some women still wear sexy underwear.
I would just like to point out that she’s been wearing the same shirt for at least this season … She had no time to grab her clothes after the farm got over-run and one can reasonably assume that her underwear hasn’t been washed or changed for some time…that thong is only white at the top…
Pretty sure the Governor’s special lady friends at a minimum get fresh underwear for banging him.

I dunno … dude is pretty crazy … I’m sure the smell of his daughter alone must stink up his apartment … which brings me to my next question: does Andrea smell THAT bad as to render the walking, rotting corpse in the other room relatively odor-less? That’s some nasty pussy

Ew

They are all probably at this point pretty rank.

^ If I recall correctly from season one when Carol’s husband gets a beat down from Shane the ladies were doing laundry by a lake.

It wouldn’t be such a stretch than that Andrea has access to amenities (shower, soap, etc. it is a “town”, after all)

Not much of a stretch to throw in a zombie on a treadmill powered bidet, if you will.

Guess there are perks to being the Governor’s plaything.

.

I agree, if the Gov keeps a fully stoked bar he can get his play thing fresh drawers.

What I want to know is how is everyone so clean cut shaved…

I was wondering that more than once…and along those lines…

How is it that everyone manages to maintain the EXACT same haircut, for over a year straight? Sure, you can get some scissors and do some basic hair-cutting on each other, but it’s not always going to look the same.

And hey…how does Rick keep the exact same stubble length? Shouldn’t he be a little bit shaggy on some days, and relatively clean-shaven on other days? Or does he make Glen do runs into town for batteries and a new beard trimmer?

Ah damn, now I see why everyone gets annoyed at nit-pickers. I’m even annoyed at myself.

You would think in an Apocalypse that the dudes would all have full beards and the women would have hairy pits and legs. But since it’s television an all. Daryl’s indie boy band messy hairdo cracks me up, it’s always parted in same spot. I mean never wet and slicked back or falling forward. Maybe Rick got clippers from when Shane shaved his head?? lol

season 3 episode 4

let’s kill off the boring black guy that everyone forgets even exists and replace him with a new black guy.

I also felt little emotion when Lori died. I think it’s pretty much universally established, even to the point where the producers had to address it publicly, that Lori was a poorly developed character from the stand-point of being immune to audience empathy. I think it’s a greater phenomena; there’s really no emotional connection with any character aside from maybe Daryl, Maggie and Glen.

Season 3 has been intense so far. I’m hoping they introduce at least one character somewhere down the line that can provide just a little bit of comic relief. At some point in an environment of constant death and doom human nature has to kick in and humour starts becoming more visible.

Not me. I felt joy and laughter. That was the television feel-good event of the year.

I honestly thought ^that^ last episode.

When I do the annual 10 backpacking trip every year I come out of the woods looking like a hobo mugged a hiker and took his pack. These guys have been running from walkers for what, 16 months?

Have they mentioned what Rick and his group are doing for water? Prison seems like a great place to hold up until you have to make daily runs down to the walker infested creek.

I think they mentioned that there was access to fresh running water on site in the first or second episode … I could bt wrong though

Rick’s group experience a lot of close shaves. That helps keep the body hair problem under control.

this is what I felt like doing when I read Roybot’s post

You people.

This thread has turned into underwear and grooming habits.

(yes, Darryl’s perfect part is annoying)

But really, zombies! Walking dead! You are losing focus.
