Walking Dead Season 3

^ I did have some hope for a Battle Arena.

T Dog…

Btw this thread made me google to Lori actress… Wtf she used to be all kinds of hot? Back in therison break days…

sucks about t-Dog, but they have his replacement in the convict.

I didn’t really like T-Dog or Lori, but that isn’t how I wanted either of them to go.

2 of the remaining original group in one episode this early in the season? Damn.

And to top it off, it’s all kinda Rick’s fault (and I bet the next few episodes he goes crazy with guilt about it too). I knew he should have killed that dude.

Crap! That was emotional. Glad I was alone, I would’ve been embarrassed with the allergies in my eyes.

Rick is a little too casual with pointing his gun at people, you would think a cop someone who ostensibly has experience working with guns would know better. And Michonne is still just awful.

Great episode. Laurie had to go and T-Dog was never a main character so you knew he would be killed of sooner or later.

The Governor part of the story is kind of dragging along slowly and i’m just waiting for something to blow up. I feel like Merril is going to disobey the governor and leave and perhaps Michonne will go with him. I agree the Michonne character is still boring. She has that same look on her face whenever they show her walking around in town.

The prison was beyond brutal this week, killer television. Can’t wait to see where that goes next week. I had no idea that Laurie would go that way, and as well as they made everyone “hate” her character, it was sad as all hell for it to happen.

They don’t really have the tension built up with the Woodbury characters yet for me… Except for the fact we know the Guvnor is weird some how, there really isn’t a ton going on and we aren’t invested at all in Michonne so there is really no reason to care if she stays or goes. Having not read the comics I have no idea where the potential lies here, so I dont know what they are building too. They writing is pretty stellar in the series, so I have nothing but high hopes it will get paid off some how.

T-Dog… RIP Brother, you will be missed.

I wanted Carl to kill Lori the baby and Maggie.

The baby…because fuck dude its a baby. That kid has no chance and will no doubt hold them back…attract walkers when it decides to start crying for no reason

Diapers
food
clothes

The smart thing wouldve been to end it there as soon as maggie cut the kid out.

Maggie. Could stay if she could be trusted not to say anything about it. But thats a lot to carry around.

Plus killing Maggie would change Glen. Im sick of his attitude.

Could open the door to a rick v carl shoot out after rick finds all the bodies in that room.

As one token black guy falls another rises.

I did a Bruce Willis Jig.

I don’t think the convict guy (what is his name?) will be a token character at all. He’s already had more of an impact on the show and nearly as much dialogue as T-Dog.

Glad the writers let T-Dog go out with a bang.

It is telling about a character when the only time you actually like them is when they’re dying, like with Lori. Good, well-written death for her. It makes you care about her even if you hated her for the previous 2 seasons, so her death can have a profound impact on the show. It’s really the first death that’s mattered (in a negative way) since Sophia; and her’s was fairly anticlimactic because it happened off-camera.

I think Lori’s death will push Rick to finally be the leader that apocalyptic times require. Next week will be a grieving episode where he nearly goes insane with guilt. Then at the end he will snap out of it.

My money is on Rick saying “F” this. He was already on the path of give no strangers a chance now this is going to push him straight into no Law but my Law. Hell he been told them if they don’t want to roll with him they could all go f*ck off. They choose to stay they choose his way.

I gotta say, Carl has really become an asset now, that kid showed more strength in that episode than anyone. He put a bullet in his own mom’s head and just walked out of there with a scowl on his face.

And well-acted. Completely gut-wrenching when she was saying her goodbyes to Carl. Really (finally?!?) felt like she sincerely regretted the whole Shane thing.

I’m 50/50 on the Governor. I know they have a lot of ground to cover and I kinda dig his two-facedness, but I don’t know where they’re going with the doctor, the research, and the curiously conspicuous tea. And I agree that Michonne doesn’t seem to be translating well to television. Comic Michonne = badass who could be the main character in her own spinoff. TV Michonne = moody sourpuss who used to have two cool pet walkers.

Just to double-check, Carol is only missing - they found her scarf/head dress and they’re assuming she’s dead, but the only chewed-up corpse was T-dog, right?

In case you forgot, Daryl jus’ don’t give’a’fuc.
