Ok, thanks - because I didn’t understand your post correctly.
Increasing prolactin is not something you want to do if you are working toward libido.
And Ginseng has been studied and shown to REDUCE prolactin, so this is a very unusual situation.
Interesting point btw, your Ginseng is “Korean” ginseng, and the studies all mention American Ginseng. I never noticed that before when reading about Ginseng.
I have done multiple test actually, I can share result details if your interested, i was wondering how ginseng can help, thought maybe it increase LH but turn out it decrease estradiol and increase prolactin I think I have done 3 test during 40 days of taking ginseng.
Please start another thread about your experience with ginseng and prolactin. I think there is a lot that could be discussed, but I would prefer not to muddy up the thread here.
I forgot to update this thread. I have written often about the pre-made shakes I drink every morning and have reduced the costs to about $1.25 each (Equate brand). The chocolate flavor is excellent.
However, I can’t travel with that. I purchased multiple 2# containers of Six Star protein powder and I make them myself while out of the country. The cost works out to $1.00 per serving.
By the way, I paid $17.96 in the USA. It is $34.16 here in Asia for the same product.
The instructions call for 5oz of water, which is so sweet and thick I can’t stand it. I dilute it to 10oz, similar to a regular pre-made shake, and I enjoy it more.
To all the guys who said powder drinks taste just as good as the pre-made shakes, I have only one word for you … bullshit.
The powder doesn’t come close to the flavor of the pre-made shakes. As long as you don’t put them side-by-side, the powder drinks are acceptable and I make them daily now while outside the states.
Update: 5-21-19: The container says you should get 18 servings. First container yielded 15 servings.
Update: 6-24-19: I have modified the mixture further … Each scoop in 10oz water is 90% full. It makes the drink substantially more enjoyable. With the 10% reduction per scoop, I am not getting 20 servings per container. I don’t know what happened during the first container. I am in the habit now of drinking my shake first thing in the morning, then immediately rinse and make the shake for following morning and place it in the refrigerator.
I see… The thing is that I use only natural vitamins and supplements. And they help really. Moreover, they have additional elements connected with the most quantity of the useful elements getting.
I wrote in the “Difficulties in Achieving Orgasm” thread before it was hijacked and lost all valid discussion value, that I have begun experimenting with a supplement to boost dopamine.
I have tested dopamine and found that I wasn’t deficient, but that my serotonin levels were on the high normal side, possibly affecting the amount of dopamine coursing through my system. TRT elevates Serotonin, so I can’t reduce it.
Therefore I decided to increase dopamine and see if I notice any effect. I am using “Balance D” From Neuroscience, which contains tyrosine and Mucuna in a “proprietary blend” which doesn’t help you determine the true contents, but was the best of the products that I could find.
I plan to experiment for another 4 weeks and if I don’t notice anything different, will drop it. Sometimes it is difficult to tell what is really working because of the placebo effect.
UPDATED 7-4-19: I stopped taking the L-Dopa supplement as I felt it was doing nothing.
I complained that they powder drinks were not as good as the container drinks.
A few days ago, I accidentally bought “Six Star Casein Protein” powder Triple Chocolate, instead of the Whey Protein Container I had been using.
OMG! The taste is amazing. There is less protein per serving, but the flavor is rich, and taste like the chocolate pre-mix shakes.
I had to look up the difference:
Casein and whey protein are both derived from milk. They differ in digestion times — casein digests slowly, making it good before bedtime, while whey digests quickly and is ideal for workouts and muscle growth. Both contain different bioactive compounds that may boost your immune system and offer other benefits.
I’m not sure the difference is relevant for me, but just on flavor alone, I will stick with the casein version.
