Thank you, but my best is 3 sets of 14 with 100s. That was when I was doubling 140kg on strict press. Definitely feel like I have a 400lb/180kg push press in me with those numbers if I can get back to that shape.

10/13/23 - bw 223

Wrapping up a great training block with some awesome work and the body feeling great. Most of this last 6 weeks was comprised of accessories to really help with a stronger foundation and prioritizing health. I’ll likely keep the trend of this last block going in the future as I work with Travis. I will be out of town for work soon so I’ll factor in a deload/week off.

Oh, you might not recognize me now that my mini picture isn’t bowser anymore.

I’m Jenn and you’re my brother from another mother.

Hey Jenn! Good to see you here, truly! It’s been a crazy decade and then some. Definitely miss the bowser pic but that’s okay. Hope all is well.

I think I have given up on the punctual posts for now (kinda goes without saying lol).

I am still coached by Travis and I use our whatsapp as my training log and I sadly do not have the room mentally to log here. But I am pleased to say things are going just fine, as they always are.

I turned 30 in November of 23’ and I must say, I do not feel as sharp or resilient as my 21 year old self. I am beat up, overworked, and honestly fizzled. It’s hard for me to even stick to a peaking block because 50% of the time I am unable to fulfill a strength expectation due to being absolutely blasted from stressors. My strength is at an all time low since I was probably 18 or so. Deadlift is probably around 250kg, front squat, 160kg, overhead 135kg, and the thought of shouldering a 150kg atlas stone sounds impossible. I used Ostarine a few years back and I had some ridiculous yield from it, but I got off of it because I was just outright worried for my health.

I started BPC-157 and TB-500 muscle injections for some knee pain about a month ago, and simultaneously scheduled some much needed bloodwork through Marek Health. Hint hint I want to try Testosterone. Whether my labs show I have low T or not, I want to dabble in it and see how I feel on it.

That’s the current scoop. I’ve trained naturally for ~150 years, hit some amazing natural numbers (170kg push press, 230kg front squat), I hope it’s not too late to see if I can squeeze out another few PR’s in the next 10-15 years!

Good to see you back my dude.

I genuinely hope that you do not have need for testosterone, but if the labs reveal that you are in need, it was life changing for me.

I got my labs done and my test scored 330. Free test was in the red as well. Unfortunately my thyroid, glucose, liver, and kidneys are all a bit fubar. Cortisol through the roof. Basically dying. Every joint hurts and I’m very lacking of intent and drive. Wonder if I have something severe or if they’re just gonna throw T at me. Trainingis basically on hold.

Really hope you get some answers dude. I will say, from my experience, the liver and kidneys can often just be from training and having a lot of muscle on the body, and glucose can get weird that way as well. But they get down to the bottom of this and get you right.

Oh shit dude, that sounds pretty rough. I hope you get some answers to what’s going on soon!

They recommended quite a lengthy list of pharma, pushing certain things more.

Of what they recommended, I’m very interested in:
-testosterone cypionate (duh)

  • tadalafil (cialis, bloodflow, general wellness, blood pressure)
  • DHEA+Preg (neurosteroid precursor, etc.)
  • ezetimibe (
  • Telmisartan (blood pressure)
  • and Allopurinol (uric acid/gout medicine…my uric acid was quite high)

These are things I mostly need prescriptions for here in the states, so it helps to possibly get those things through Marek. On the other hand, there’s tons of things I am not opting for as they seem superfluous or just downright pointless as I can get OTC.

I will say, I am aware that Marek is a business and they do want to make “sales”. Doesn’t void them of integrity as a company, but I do know there’s minutia and I want to steer clear from that as much as I can. The unfortunate reality is health is an ongoing process requiring much trial and error. Patience…

My current training is almost entirely stifled by persistent joint pain. Both knees, and my right elbow flaring up transiently, but indefinitely.

In the last week, I reintroduced extra doses of Vit D3 with K2, fish oil, mag glycinate, carditone for blood pressure, along with a multi mineral and multi vit.

Damn, that is quite a list. There’s a bit of whack-a-mole that happens as you introduce pharma. I’d be curious if just the test itself would work to resolve some issues.

Ended up opting out of purchasing from Marek as they charge literally 2-3x per price for most items.

I sourced from other trustworthy places and got my hands on some of the same things for a fraction of the price.

Currently on ~200mg of testosterone/week (3x 65-70mg/week) as well as 250mg glutathione injections, 200mg L-carnitine and HCG injections throughout the week. I am also on several over the counter vitamin complexes recommended by Marek to facilitate. Weird going from zero injections to pinning myself almost every day, sometimes multiple times.

The plan is to slowly drop individual treatments periodically in the future to see what, if anything, changes.

Only have done 3 injections of test so far, but I feel slightly different, just can’t put my finger on it. Probably placebo. Training has been notably better since then, though it’s probably from lifted mood knowing I am on treatment.

Knee feels significantly less fucky, as does the elbow. Hoping the body was just mega inflamed and everything is slowly chipping away at the healing process in my body.

Good to gear you getting things moving. Looking forward to hearing the progress.
