Thence you declared that the milk had “gone sour.” Am I supposed to be nice after that?
Anyway, the use of the adjective “simple,” (instead of, say, “quick”) seemed a little pointed, plus I was a little chagrined that I’d spent as much time responding to other posts on this thread as I had intended to preserve when I said that I didn’t have time to do the research. Oh well. My error.
