I mean gymnasioums tall enough for cieling mounted basketball goals are pretty tall. And kids are pretty small. And the half-inch “stomach crunch pad” from the 80’s would not save legs from snapping.
The peg boards too for that matter. But no, kids are not required to do stuff like this anymore. Physical assessment is politically incorrect. They don’t even have to hold themselves steady over a chin up bar for at least 60 seconds to get good marks.
